A tough year for everybody I’m sure. But if Ford can’t manage and train their service personnel on how to properly do the repairs for a recall, then they’ve seen the last of me as a future customer. I’ve had issue with this car ever since I bought it. Starting with the cheap tires that came with it, I finally decided to purchase Quality tires myself. The first set I only got around 25000 miles from them. Not much more on the second set. You do the math. Thats not good for two new sets of tires. then the forward upper engine mount broke. Luckily I was able to change that myself. I’ve never in my life of buying cars have had an engine mount go bad. My last car I drove over 300000 miles. No problems at all. This explorer on the other hand is very needy. Won’t buy another one.
