Vehicle was dropped off at Dealer in October for a high voltage battery code and was not finished until the end of January. I had to call the dealership for updates since they would not call me and most o voltage battery code and was not finished until the end of January. I had to call the dealership for updates since they would not call me and most of the times that I called, there was no answer and no call-back when I left messages. And on top of all that, after we got the vehicle back, we found the rear license plate had been stolen and the front license plate was tucked in the glove compartment. Also, after being at the dealership for three months, the vehicle was returned dirty! They didn't even bother to give it a wash! Oh, and by the way, this vehicle is the Oceanside Police Chiefs take-home vehicle. More
The fender molding that was damaged during the initial visit was never replaced. Instead, the technicians attempted to resolve the issue by replacing the clips only, and the unused bag of new clips was left in the hood compartment. This indicates that a quality control inspection was either not performed or was performed poorly. Additionally, the coolant level is significantly overfilled well above the maximum line. While I understand coolant levels can fluctuate slightly depending on engine temperature, this level is far beyond normal limits and is nearly full to the top. I have also experienced coolant leaking in my garage. Based on these symptoms and the audible gurgling noise coming from the cooling system, I strongly believe there may be an air pocket present in the system. I contacted Fernando Fierro, Service Director, to express my concerns. Unfortunately, the situation was downplayed, and I was advised that these issues could be addressed at my next oil change. I asked if the repairs could be completed at a local dealership, as I live approximately an hour and a half away, but I was told that the vehicle must be brought back to the original dealership. I was further advised to continue driving the vehicle until my next oil change. I am not comfortable operating a vehicle that is actively leaking coolant and may have air trapped in the cooling system, as this poses a risk of overheating and potential engine damage. This is a safety concern that I believe requires immediate attention rather than being deferred. I am requesting that these issues be properly address More
