My 2016 Volt was towed to this dealership on May 31, 2025, after being diagnosed with a failure in one of the vehicle’s high-voltage batteries. The necessary repair or resolution, which required coordination with GM’s took approximately four months to complete. The primary issue throughout this period was a profound and systemic failure in customer communication and follow-up. The process completely stalled after the initial diagnosis; had I not persistently initiated contact, my vehicle would still be awaiting attention. This failure of service was unfortunately led by the Service Manager Scott Holt, whose demeanor was both unhelpful and unprofessional, demonstrating disinterest in resolving my issue. Calls to GM Customer Service were equally unsatisfactory, as I was given incorrect information regarding the vehicle’s warranty status and I was told there was noting GM could do for me? There was zero assistance from the dealership when they knew GM Customer Service gave me incorrect information? The sole positive element in this entire ordeal was the exceptional effort of Bill Smigiel in the service department, who provided a necessary and appreciated level of communication. Based on this dismal, four-month-long failure—minimal dealership, follow-up, and no external coordination—I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this service department or the dealership for vehicle purchases.
