It’s been a month and I still don’t have my contracts from the finance guy. He keeps telling me he will send it to me and still…nothing. While the staff was very helpful when searching for a vehicle, their reliability once the paperwork has been signed is disappointing to say the least. We purchased a used vehicle that had immediate problems off the lot. After multiple attempts to make the vehicle serviceable, we ended up in a different car, with a different loan. We were assured the first loan would be removed from our credit as the first vehicle was returned to the dealership's inventory. Two weeks later, both vehicles show financed under my name with the lending agency. I call both the bank and the dealership. The bank tells me there is nothing they can do and to talk to the dealership. I call the dealership and I am assured it will be taken care of. A week later, nothing has changed. My husband calls and is assured it will be taken care of. A week later, nothing has changed. I call several times more. Each time I am told that the loan for the first vehicle would be paid and removed from my credit. I am repeatedly told someone will call me or my husband back with an update. We never received a call. The day before the loan on the first vehicle is due (yesterday), I speak to a different manager. She says she will work on it right away and have someone call me with an update. No one calls, so I call again that afternoon. She says she told the people "upstairs" about the urgency and was surprised they hadn't called me. She said she would talk to them again and ask them to call me with an update. No one called. Today, again, no call. The loan is due. I asked to speak to the "highest ranking manager available," but was sent to a finance manager who did not answer. The phone was eventually answered by the person who initially helped us acquire our financing. He was "surprised" that it had not been taken care of even though I had spoken to him a week ago and he said that he was working on it and not to worry. Well... I AM worried... frustrated, and disappointed at the lack of communication and follow up. This is unacceptable customer service. There is no reason that I should have had to call and follow up so many times for a matter of this importance and that the issue was allowed to persist for so long. Please be assured that should my credit be negatively impacted by this, I will be reporting this to the appropriate governmental agencies in an attempt to repair the damage. More
