My experience was horrible, I came to this dealer with a pre approval from capitol one, I made it 100% clear I didn’t give any approval for my credit to be run yet I have 19 hard inquiries on my credit repo pre approval from capitol one, I made it 100% clear I didn’t give any approval for my credit to be run yet I have 19 hard inquiries on my credit report? I do believe a scam was ran on me I came in to purchase a vehicle purchased that vehicle and left. Next thing I know I’m being called back to change vehicle out to new no mileage car as capitol one would fully finance a newer vehicle due to its value. So I come back to this dealer test drive new vehicle and sit there for 2 hours just for them to tell me to leave I get home and capital one has run my credit again. I call capital one they ask me what the vin number is to vehicle I was driving,and it’s connected to the newer vehicle they told me I couldn’t leave with.that they would deliver to my home the following day. long Story short no new vehicle.....they sold the vehicle to someone after telling me I couldn’t get it..... scammers .... I’m currently fighting to get the 19 hard inquiries removed as this wAs illegally done I would suggest to go to another dealer I normally buy cash cars this dealer has reminded me why I do this. Also contacting better business bureau cause this whole process doesn’t sit right with me .. I know other are going through this same scam ..oh your pre approval is not going through.... let’s run your credit with whoever so we the dealer get the best deal..... now I’m screwed with so many hard inquiries and a vehicle not worth what they sold it to me for. I’m never going to forget this experience ever More
