Sales promises were retracted when we came back Our sales person made some promises on the firs day we looked at the car and confirmed them to get us to come back. When we said we would purchase the Our sales person made some promises on the firs day we looked at the car and confirmed them to get us to come back. When we said we would purchase the car, he talked to the manager of the sales team and came back and said that because it was such a great deal, the could not honor the promises. The promises were: 1. touchup paint and add a screw to the wheel well to secure the bumper on the front of the car, 2. patch a tiny tear in the leather, 3. allow us to take the car to a mechanic to make sure the car was solid If the promises were never made or agreed to, I still would have purchased the car. It is a great deal. But the feeling that this was a "typical" used car lot, made me want to just walk away. The gentleman from Finance was very helpful, but I do not recall his name. More
