Hello, My name is Keith Lefebvre I'm the general sales manager at Quirk VW NH. I understand your frustration if you feel VW credit should waive the fee because the Beetle you returned to them was in very good condition . This fee comes from the manufacturer on every single lease they do regardless of condition, or miles on the car at turn in. Unfortunately this is not something the dealership has any control over. They do however have a loyalty program that will pay for it when you buy or lease another VW, or Audi. Please let me know if this is the case, I will need a VIN#, and I will work my best to try and remove this from your bill. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you now, or in the future. Sincerely, Keith Lefebvre 603-206-2951

Hello, My name is Keith Lefebvre the general sales manager of Quirk VW. We spoke when you had to come in to drop off the tires. I wanted to contact you about this review, because I was under the impression that we had made good on this agreement. Again I'm sorry that the process of removing the tires played out differently than it might have at the dealership you had worked for, but all dealerships have there own rules and processes. I understand that you had thought that we would keep your car, and so did Matt at the time. So I can see where the confusion was, and that's why we helped with breaking our normal process and helped you out with the cost of your tire swap. It certainly was not an old school tactic to try and get more money from you. As far as Paula's product knowledge, I see where you are coming from when you say that she didn't know as much as you did in regards to the options and features of the Tiguan. Being a Sales Manager yourself, I'm sure you realize that we made it to our level because we were probably more knowledgeable in multiple areas than the average sales person. She does have incredible work ethic and almost all of her customers love doing business with her because of her honesty, and the personal touch she gives them. I would like to keep our business relationship going, and if you have any other further needs with your current VW, or ones in the future, I would be happy to help you with them personally. I will ask if you could rethink putting this negative information out on to a public forum about my employees. I know that none of what took place was done out of disrespect, or to try and get any additional money from you other than what our normal process is. Please take this as an apology, and a promise to help with anything that may come up in the future. Thanks again for you business, Keith Lefebvre General Sales Manager Quirk VW NH 603-206-2958

Keith, Thank you for responding. It's interesting that it takes this sort of public review to get a response. I emailed you multiple times trying to talk to you about this and never received a response......which may have prevented this review. If you look, our purchase was several months ago and I'm just now writing a review. I agree that all dealerships have different philosophies and procedures, but the way our purchase was handled couldn't have been considered "right". Think, overpromise but underdelivered, in our situation. My wife and I are pretty easy sales. I didn't beat you guys up terribly on price, didn't shop you against other dealers, didn't talk about invoice, hold back, etc. You likely made a fair profit, in my opinion, as the vehicle was only discounted $1,000. If a $30k Tiguan only has $1,000 of mark up (which we both know it doesn't), then VW is in serious trouble. Again, we're talking $140 in a $30k purchase. Last, I never received a new vehicle survey from VWoA and can only imagine where that ended up. If I really wanted to cause you trouble and aggravation, I would've contacted them by now. I hope that my experience with your dealership is not the norm and may even open an eye or two to some policy flaws. I know that's how I would've looked at this. Thank you Jason

Jason, all of us took this as learning experience, and I do appreciate the feed back. We are always looking for ways to improve our performance. I did receive your email, and I spoke with the people involved. That's why we decided to pay for the swap, and make things right. I should have followed up myself at the time, but I thought we had come to a reasonable conclusion, and Matt was on top of it. If you need anything in the future please don't hesitate to ask. Sincerely, Keith Lefebvre
