Buying long distance requires a little more effort, trust and honesty. As soon as the MINI Cooper of the year and model I had been searching for was listed I contacted Radley Cadillac by phone. The sales person told me the car was white with a black interior and was of a certain model (which is not offered in white) and that it was a "nice" one that had "just been traded in". I got off the phone and did some research which confirmed that model was not offered in white. When I called back, I asked to speak to another sales person who confirmed it was white. Between the two sales people I was variously told : "the car was traded yesterday", "the car may have come from an auction", the car is being delivered", "the car was accepted on trade sight unseen, (which could mean it was or was not "nice") and "for certain it was white" and that it was the model (which is not offered in white) by both sales people. While the they were prompt in offering answers, the answers were not honest nor well informed. I gave up and researched the VIN on my own discovering the car was not white and did not have the stated black leather interior. I also found out the car had been modified in a way which would make it louder. Knowing i could reverse the modifications and still being interested I contacted management explaining in detail I was a cash in hand, no trade, informed customer frustrated with being mislead and hoping for honest answers and service in that I was (hopefully) a long distance buyer. My two emails, one to a management person and the other to the stated owner, have gone unanswered. That in itself is very telling. More
They sold me a car that carfax showed minor damage. Come to find out the handsfree liftgate was inoperable. Wiring, not covered by warranty. Cost me $700 to have it fixed. Major things missing from the trunk, like a lug wrench or locking lug nut adapter. Cargo compartment cross bar protector missing too. Anyway, if they offer up a crertified used car with a 120 point inspection, they are lying or just plain don’t know the problems they pass on More
The process of buying a car at Radley Cadillac was seamless. The customer service was excellent regardless of the type of car you were purchasing. He and the other staff made the whole experience a pleasure. The car was detailed, filled up and washed prior to our driving away. Too bad for CARMAX, they lost a sale. Trading in a 2015 Cadillac ATS4, the negotiation over the phone went very smoothly with the Sales Consultant and the Finance Manager. The unit was delivered to Midlothian VA from Fredericksburg by a young, very knowledgeable and polite Radley employee. He answered all my questions. Equipped with all the paperwork, I signed and exchanged paperwork, and everything was completed without a problem. All handled very professionally. I couldn't be more pleased with Radley Cadillac.. We scheduled a meeting this past Monday and along with sales manager Ryan Ambrose we have resolved the issues mentioned in my previous review.
