Car in for a routine oil and cabin filter change. Use the express service, but since the wait was expected to be 1.5 hours, I decided to drop the car off and come back and pick it up later. I have never found the express service to be "express", so I always plan on dropping the car off for service. I do appreciate the ability to get an oil change using the express service so that I do not have to make a service appointment. I have always found this dealership to do good work. One other comment for all of the businesses that would like to have feedback on the customer's experience in dealing with you. Stop asking for the reviewer to have an account. My extended family and I have been buying Subarus from Rafferty Subaru since 1981. They are the largest Subaru dealer in the area and no other dealer has been able to beat their prices. When my 2013 Outback died a few months ago, I ordered a new 2026 Solterra. While we were waiting for the car to arrive, Rafferty arranged for me to drive a loaner for almost two months at no cost. Our new Solterra is very fun to drive. I have a level two outlet at home, so I can fully charge the car each night while I sleep. The only issue we are waiting to be fixed by Subaru/Toyota is that we are unable to register for Drive Connect, and therefore can not set up driver profiles or use the Subaru Connect app. This is not an issue caused by the dealer, rather it seems to be a processing delay on the Subaru/Toyota backend. I will wait a few days, and if its not automatically resolved, I will call customer support for assistance. More

This is one of those reviews where I wish there were an option for no stars, my worst experience with service: I explained to Greg, the service rep, that my car was stalling, and his first response was to option for no stars, my worst experience with service: I explained to Greg, the service rep, that my car was stalling, and his first response was to tell me about the car's fuel-saving system when the car stops. Not only had I said that my car was shutting down and instructing me to put it in park, but I also have been driving the car for over a year. Greg, needed me to repeat what I had said again, and again misinterpreted it and said the car wasn't stalling. When I called over the service manager (Bob?) to explain the dashboard messages when I arrived (check engine, check transmission, and other warnings), he waved his hand and said only that the "check engine" light was on. Later, Greg called me to say that the service department had updated a few codes, but that wouldn't have been responsible for the problem and that he drove my car 13 miles without incident. When I went in to pick up the car, Greg wasn't there, but the agent next to him said that what I described was a car stalling. Despite having heard my conversation by his own admission, he hadn't corrected Greg. Further, when I said something about the department not being able to figure out what was wrong with my car, he corrected me, "It's not that we don't know what's wrong; it's that we couldn't find anything wrong." PS The car stalled at the first red light I came to and the rest of my drive home. I'm taking it to John Kennedy in two days, where friends have had much better treatment and service. I so regret not sticking with Toyotas, where I also only had to wait a day at the most for a service appointment. More

Craig was extremely efficient and communicative throughout the process. The video from the mechanic was especially appreciated—it allowed me to see exactly what was happening with my vehicle every step of the way, which gave me great peace of mind. When I arrived at Rafferty Subaru, I was greeted by the manager and promptly taken to a service associate to sign in. Although my appointment had not been entered despite being scheduled a week prior, it was handled seamlessly and without issue. My car was taken right away, and I was provided with a loaner vehicle, which was incredibly convenient. Please do not change a thing or take away any of the perks—this level of service is exactly why I continue to return. The quality of the service and the Subaru vehicles themselves are what keep me coming back and purchasing Subaru after Subaru. Once again, kudos to Craig and the service manager—he is awesome! More
