Dear Mr Rafferty, I am following up with you in hopes for some feedback from you. I don’t know if Mr Magness spoke with you about how dissatisfied I was with Mr Cunninghams tactics to keep me there for 5 hours, telling me he’s going to get me a great deal. I was walking out when I felt I wasn’t giving me enough for my 2019 Buick, which his reply was that I wouldn’t get what I wanted because I smoke in it, which I thought was crazy. It kept going back and forth, and I was ready to walk out again, but he said let’s get the financing together to get you a good rate. At that time I thought my bank was at %8. After returning back and forth 3 or 4 times, with different banks, I called my bank and was going to leave again to finance with them at 5.74. Then I got the tag team with Owen and Adam that the 1. 25 difference, isn’t that much with such a small amount. I said, it’s enough for me to go with my bank. Long and short of it, I was given 12,500 for my Buick, total of $9000 down, $5000 from my checking and $4000 on a credit card. The only thing that I can say in my defense is that being there for 5 hours, going back and forth, I don’t know if I felt obligated. Also Owen was not only waiting on myself, he was also working with another customer, which was irking me while there, because I had more questions. I am in a fixed income, and I had to borrow from my sister the $4000, so I don’t pay the credit card fees. The $5000 was supposed to go to my daughters wedding in September. I can’t sleep at night, because I have been regretting this decision since I walked into your dealership. To add more insult to injury, I walked out with no owners manual, or the 2 yr, 24,000 mile warranty. It has been almost 3 weeks and I’ve yet to get owners manual and I also asked for the carfax. I did receive the warranty yesterday. I would really like to sit down and discuss this matter with you, because I’m sure I left out some details. Sincerely, Katherine Scharr Ps. $9000 down, 12.500 for the encore, and a 16,452 loan. That total is $37,952 for a $24,000 car, 2019 Forester. I got totally railroaded , and at first I was ashamed to tell anyone how I was taken advantage of, but I’m now speaking out, because I don’t want another senior citizen like myself be taken advantage of.
