Very frustrating experience. Nothing against Fred who helped me. Booked the 2020 outback model TURBO leg/out fuel recalls appt two weeks in advance. Received a call to confirm my appt. Took a workday off and drove an hour to accommodate their request as recalls can only be handled on weekdays. Then I was told they didn’t order the part because they didn't realize my car has a Turbo. The recalls is titled TURBO!!! I was dismissed and told “sorry that was a mistake and you can come back another time”. Who knows what excuse they will tell me next time. I was so disappointed and felt like they don’t have a streamlined process to make sure they are well prepared for what needs to be done. More
In November, 2021, I had front arm bushings replaced under my Subaru extended warranty, and was told that the car would also need alignment as a result. I paid for the alignment and the deductible for t under my Subaru extended warranty, and was told that the car would also need alignment as a result. I paid for the alignment and the deductible for the warranty service. About three weeks later, I received a phone call from the service advisor who assisted me during this visit, and was told a mistake was made and that the alignment should have been covered under the extended warranty, and I was owed a refund for the alignment. I needed to bring my car in for service the very next day after the phone call, a Saturday. The same service advisor did not know how to process the refund, and was told a manager's approval is needed to issue the refund. My name and number was taken down, was promised someone would call me back on Monday, and the refund could be processed over the phone. No one called me back and I still have not received said refund. I left a voicemail for the service advisor that Wednesday. I followed up on Friday and spoke directly to Ken, the dealership's service manager about this. He promised to look into it and to call me back. Three weeks after the first call from the service advisor, and two weeks after my conversation with the service manager, I still have not received a return call from Ken, the service manager, to issue the refund. Very disappointed that the dealership's word cannot be trusted. I will have to take more time out of my work day to call yet again. Truly badly done, Rafferty Subaru! More
