Keith told me to bring it in so they can look at it. Brent took a look at it as well and decided on the spot that they’ll replace the windshield. No run around. No games. Marty Smith took me on test drives of a few different models. I started out looking for a used car but I was so pleased with the product, and Marty's thoroughness and professionalism, that I wound up buying a brand new Outback. Even after the sale, Marty promptly answered calls and responded to my requests. Marty also spoke so highly of the Rafferty family that I felt like I wanted to be a part of the family too! Great Job, Marty! You are the best. And thanks also to Marty's management that allowed him to be patient with me. It was a pleasant buying experience and I look forward to coming back for service throughout the coming years. More

That said, my ultimate experience with Rafferty was both enormously gratifying and also, for better or worse, just as upsetting at the beginning. The first half of that remark is for the dealership; the latter for my fellow consumers. However, both parties could benefit tremendously by considering the last-minute, Hail Mary, work-a-round I accidentally ended up applying Without naming names I'll just say that sales reps - within every industry, and just like us - have both good and bad days. The corresponding features of each can have a profound effect on one's level of focus, will, energy, helpfulness, determination, interest, caring, etc, etc, etc. If you were a rep wanting to win an award for salesperson of the year you'd better be on the positive side of those traits. If you are a consumer, however, and purely by chance happen to find yourself dealing with a "bad day" rep, don't blame the dealership. Rather, hang up, call back and specifically request a different person. That's what I did - but ONLY after five days of steaming over what happened during my first attempt. On the fifth day I was actually in the process of wiring money to a different dealer for a car I decided I could probably live with when suddenly the internet went down. Everything stopped. I thought for a moment, picked up the phone and followed the above advice. The outcome? I was paired with a rep with whom I was able to connect genuinely, and ended up getting the car of my dreams. The moral: Neither steam nor groan, Unless flawless you've been shown. Realize that dealerships keep multiple reps on hand for the express purpose of compensating for the daily allotment of "bad day" reps who, for the sake of all, would have done far better to call in sick. More

Terrible Service Appt—loss potential buyer My husband took our Subaru in for the airbag recall...while there he got a loaner car and informed the tech that we are about to buy next month and we My husband took our Subaru in for the airbag recall...while there he got a loaner car and informed the tech that we are about to buy next month and were between the Crosstrek and Outback. He told him to try the Crosstrek...my husband loved the car! He brought it by my work and I loved it. Definitely started on an plus! Cut to returning the car and picking up our car...my husband encountered a very rude guy who wouldn’t let the issue go that he parked the loaner in the ONLY spot to park it...it escalated with this employee so much so that the manager even came out and apologized for this employee. Now onto the condition of the car—the inside was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY...shoe marks and dirt all over our seat, dust everywhere including our daughters car seat. The rugs on the floor where they had to get inside to replace whatever they replaced with the airbags were pulled out and never repositioned behind the walls of the car so now we have rugs that are all hanging out and looks awful. Thanks for the test drive...we are definitely getting the 2019 Crosstrek...but from Another dealership. Any service we get elsewhere will be far better than what we received at Rafferty. More
