I made an offer over the internet and Rairdon's accepted it. They said they would contact me if the vehicle got sold before I got there. When I arrived the vehicle was still on the lot and they even let m it. They said they would contact me if the vehicle got sold before I got there. When I arrived the vehicle was still on the lot and they even let me drive it but said it had been sold, sight unseen, to another dealer who had a buyer for it. I asked them why they didn't call me so I wouldn't have had to make a 100 mile round trip and I didn't get a good answer. They said they could get me another one but I would have to pay a $500 transport fee. When I said they should eat that cost because of not keeping me informed they just said that they had to cover themselves and any liability they might incur. So there was no consideration given to me. They were only looking out for themselves at my expense with no admission of their own error. I think they might have even been doing the old bait and switch job on me. They could have contacted me about the vehicle getting sold but they wanted me to come up anyway so that they could sell me another one for more money. They remind me of river pirates: they lure you into their den, hit you over the head, punch holes in your canoe, sink it to cover up their crime and then they throw your body into a bear cave. More
