Made a scheduled appointment a day prior to appraise my 6-series convertible for trade-in on a new 535xdrive that I also wanted to test drive. As soon as I got there I was not given a welcome feeling most luxury car dealerships take pride in. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I was greeted by a Joel a salesman who hastily ran my 6-series through CarFax and immediately began to express concern over a odometer conflict being reported. His direct response was that there would be no way I would get a fair trade in value for my car since the odometer had been tampered with. To automatically assume I had tampered with the odometer before investigating the matter and realizing it was a clerical mistake that is common with most NY inspection centers due to misread mileage was one of many mistakes he made. After consulting with the official appraiser Joel realized the car was in great condition and reassured me that he would take care of the matter with CarFax (still waiting to see if this has been done). He still managed to use phrases like, "giving you the benefit of the doubt" and "in good faith" regarding the issue. When I asked for information regarding the vehicle he wrote down BMWUSA_com, "Build Your Own" to reference where I should go. Ideally most dealerships would provide you with a brochure with detailed information-- I got a business card and a website I obviously knew about. After explaining to me that he had another car to deliver to a customer he referred me to Kareem to test drive the car. Kareem was incredibly courteous and helpful with all my questions and really should be acknowledged as having the right customer service attitude. Not only did he take his time in explaining what wonderful features the car had but had a genuine way of representing the brand as a loyal BMW enthusiast. He's the only reason they get 2 stars. When I returned from the test drive I approached the front desk and inquired about test driving the GT version of the 5 series I was interested in buying. I was told "NO" immediately by a salesperson sitting by the receptionists' desk before I even expected a response. I couldn't really make an informed decision since the car wasn't available on the show room floor so minutes later when I met with Joel to obtain the appraisal form I asked again. His response was that there was one available but "didn't have the time to take it out with me" and said "Kareem most likely wouldn't be able to." At that point I was so appalled by the way I was being treated I left. My experience made it clear that from the moment I met Joel he had no interest in selling me a car or was too much in a rush to take me seriously. Witnessing several sales associates just sitting around the showroom floor walking about made me wonder why I was approached by Joel who had an appointment to deliver a car within minutes of my arrival. The other salesman who obviously didn't take the time to really see if a GT was available also made it clear to me that his initial opinion led him to believe I didn't deserve the opportunity to test drive the vehicle. I'm a current owner of a BMW 6 series and really ashamed that this is how they treat a loyal BMW enthusiast and a potential new car buyer who didn't just walk in expressing interest in a vehicle but made a appointment. If the sales team didn't "have enough time" to test drive a car with me don't ever waste my time and request me to visit your dealership. More

I was there on Wed. June 8th 2011. I was told previously that I needed rear brakes and told this to the person handling my car. Everytime I have been there someone always comes to me before any works gets that I needed rear brakes and told this to the person handling my car. Everytime I have been there someone always comes to me before any works gets done and explains that yes you need such service and here is why. This time NOTHING and only came to me after the brakes were done. At this point I do not even know if I really needed rear brakes or it was just done for the hell of it. On the receipt is the same basic thing, Customer states needs rear brakes. Again on the receipt I it would usuall say like worn pads need replacement. Then he tells me my rear tires will not pass inspection. He should have told me before any work was done becasue I would have just asked for my car back. I went to 2 gas stations about the rear tires and both said they would pass. The only reason I couldnt get the inspection to pass is I have a large chip in the windsheild. The other thing now is on the hood where there are 2 chrome pieces 1 is missing. I had called the the service dept. to see if they can look at the photo when I brought the car in to make sure I did have both (I am not looking to blame you if it was already off). I was told someone would call me back and no one has. I am extrememly disappointed in the quality of service I received this time. More

Around February of this year (2011) I had to bring my BMW 528 Xdrive to Rally BMW due to a battery that was drained due to a parking light that was left on. BMW SOS was notified and they set up a time in which a tow truck will come to help. The tow truck came 3 hours late to the appointed time they had said. When the toe truck driver came, he tried to be helpful as much as possible. He was unable to jumpstart my vehicle with his portable-jumpstarter kit. So I ended up using my SUV truck to jump start my vehicle and I even USED my own jumper cables. In my mind, I could have done this myself, I could have saved the 3 hours wasted waiting for this toe truck company to do a job that I could have done myself. The toe truck driver was very nice and helped as best as he could given the situation at hand. Upon my arrival to Rally BMW, I spoke to service representative CAROL MUNIZ and I told her how my vehicle wouldn't start and that I had to jumpstart it to get the vehicle going. She forewarned me that the possible cause was that a light switch or something related to it could have led to drain the battery causing it not to start when initiated. She also forewarned me that if the battery was drained caused by me not vehicle inflicted, I would have to pay out of pocket for the services rendered. I was left but to agree for the service. After the services was done, I did have to pay out of pocket of $215.08. According to my service representative Carol Muniz, she verbalized that the battery was drained due to someone pressing the left indicator down upon exiting of the vehicle and therefore, the parking light was left on continuously for several hours draining the battery. What I am dissatisfied about is if Rally BMW cared so much for their customers and customer satisfaction, they could have said that they will charge the battery and service the vehicle without charging me. I am very careful about my BMW, and clearly it was accidental that the battery was drained. This is the second bmw I have owned. I have also brought two other family members who currently lease vehicles with Rally. And I regret that I ever brought them there. I have spoken to a friend of mine who had a similar situation happen and Rally BMW did not charge them anything! When I heard that, I was livid. So to confirm, as soon as my lease is over, I will be taking my business to Audi and Mercedes where true LUXURY and customer satisfaction resides. Diana made my service appt and professionalism, courtesy and kindness! She is such a doll! I was met in the service drive by a few valets all happy to greet me and wish me a "good morning!". Escorted me into his cubical and listened to all my concerns with my 1991 325ic with 137,538 miles. You know when you bring in your car for service and the only words you can use to describe the issues are adjectives? Like thumping, banging, screeching etc. I really believe the s/a's take special classes to disipher those adjectives. They have found every problem I've had and then some! They discovered problems I didn't even know I had. Imtiaz was my technician and was so diligent and thorough. In speaking to David and Larry they advised me of the items by importance not price. I have been a RALLYE customer for 17 years and never had a problem. Diana arranged for a beautiful loaner car for my use while my baby was getting work done. I can't say enuf of RALLYE BMW, I really enjoy coming to RALLYE BMW. Their new facility is breath-taking and a lot of amenities to entertain the customer; of any age!! The folks at RALLYE BMW have such pride and compassion not only to the brand but more importantly the customer. They personally know you by name and with upmost respect always. Waiting for my baby to come from the car wash, I saw more smiling people milling around and attentive to all customers and employees alike.
