Recently returned a lease Mazda vehicle...2 cars 6 years..will never use any Ramsey dealership again..The original salesperson no longer is there...So got a major runaround. I am very happy to write this review about my experience at Ramsey Mazda. I was in search for a Soul Red Mazda 6. After doing research on the internet Ramsey Mazda had the best price . I live 2 h experience at Ramsey Mazda. I was in search for a Soul Red Mazda 6. After doing research on the internet Ramsey Mazda had the best price . I live 2 hours away so was hesitant about driving up and possibly being disappointed . Prior to my visit Joe G. worked with me answered all of my questions. We were able to complete much of the pre-work of purchasing a car. Donavan the finance manager was very helpful as well. When I arrived at the dealership my process was seamless. Donovan explained everything thoroughly about my finance package. Joe Reviewed everything about the car I need to know to make me comfortable. It was the best experience that have ever had purchasing a car , it was stress free and I so appreciated Joe and Donovan making this great experience. It was well worth my 2 hour drive! I was in the market for a new SUV. I usually lease a new SUV every 2 to 3 years. The last four SUVs that I had were Toyota Highlander Limited I believe very highly in consumer reports.org. Whenever I buy a SUV every 2 to 3 years. The last four SUVs that I had were Toyota Highlander Limited I believe very highly in consumer reports.org. Whenever I buy a new car or any expensive electronics I always check the Consumers Reports to see how they were rated. My Toyota highlander always had one of the very highest ratings for safety, and you name it, they were rated at the top. Well I decided to check consumer reports once again and looked at all the SUVs, Including some of the more expensive models like BMW, Audi and quite a few others. The 2020 CX-9 had one of the highest ratings, for safety handling and just about everything else, and to my surprise, was even rated slightly higher than a Toyota Highlander Limited. After reading all about the different CX-9 Models, I decided that I wanted the grand touring model, which comes with 20 inch tires and had One of the highest ratings for safety, handling, and quite a few other nice luxury features. I live in orange county New York, so I looked at the three dealers in my area who didn’t have too much of a selection in stock, so I looked up Mazda dealerships in New Jersey. Ramsey Mazda, had great reviews, and had quite a nice selection of the new 2020 Mazda CX-9 Grand touring models, in stock. I looked up their phone number and gave them a call. They connected me to a salesman by the name of Victor Jacobson. I told Victor what I was looking for, and told him what I was willing to pay for it. He said, come down and test drive one and see how you like it ? I made an appointment to come down and test drive one with my beautiful wife. When I got to Ramsey Mazda, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who said can I help you. I said yes thank you, I’m here to see Victor Jacobson. Victor came over about 30 seconds one minute later and introduced himself, to my wife and myself. He said, I have the car already for you and your wife, to take for a test ride. I took one for a test drive with my wife, and was very impressed by the beauty on the outside, the inside and the way it handled. I forgot to tell you, that when l Was reading the consumer reports, they said the Mazda CX-9 Grand touring model, handles beautiful, hugs the road, is very responsive, and drives beautiful, compared to the Toyota Highlander, which sways, is all over the road, which I could say is very true. So anyway after driving that beautiful grand touring model, I told Victor what color and what options I wanted. He gave me a great price, and said that he had a brand new one coming in by boat, in about 2 to 3 weeks. I said let’s do it, so he wrote it up, and then introduced me to the business manager, Mr. Donovan Lau, to finalize and sign all the papers for the lease. Mr. Donovan Lau, was very friendly and pleasant. He didn’t try to force or push me to take anything that I didn’t want. I was surprised at how fast everything got done. After signing all the papers for the lease, Mr. Donovan Lau, must, have thanked me and my wife at least five or six times, and said as soon as your car comes in, Victor will give you a call. Donovan took my wife and myself, back over to Victor, where we all said goodbye. Victor said, I’ll call you, as soon as your car comes into the dock, and if you need anything else here’s my personal number give me a call at anytime. After about a week and a half went by, I decided I would like the more luxury model, called the signature which comes with real wood trim and all kinds of extra bells and whistle’s along with a Bose sound system, with 12 speakers, which sounds absolutely fabulous. Victor told me no problem at all. He asked me what exterior color would I like, and what interior trim would I like? I told him, and he said he has the exact model I want in stock. Long story short, this was late Thursday night, and two days later on Saturday at lunchtime I picked up my new vehicle. Once again, I met Victor and then Donovan to sign the new papers because I had changed models. Once again I had a great experience with Victor and Donovan. I would very highly recommend this dealership, Ramsey Mazda in New Jersey, and my salesman Victor Jacobson and the business manager Donovan Lau. The experience that I had at this dealership, has been nothing but superb!!! I have now had, my Mazda CX-9 Grand touring signature Suv for about two weeks. I already drove it up to Niagara Falls, for about an eight hour, one-way drive, and this is the best handling, most comfortable car/SUV that I have ever drove. Before I had the Toyota Highlander Limited with a big six cylinder. This Mazda has a four-cylinder with a supercharger, that I am so impressed with. It gets great mileage around town but when you need to step on the pedal and pass somebody at 70 or 80 it’s got plenty of xxxxx. This car is absolutely the best car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had plenty. Before I go, I really just have to say, my experience at this dealership with Victor Jacobson and Mr. Donovan Lau, and I don’t wanna forget the young lad, Brandon, who showed me how to get familiarized with the car before I left, is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, at a new car dealership.
