Since our brand new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Sport came with far fewer options than what we had expected, I decided about 1 week after taking delivery of the vehicle to contact the Ramsey Subaru Parts Departmen far fewer options than what we had expected, I decided about 1 week after taking delivery of the vehicle to contact the Ramsey Subaru Parts Department directly about ordering the additional items that were missing. I printed out the list of parts which clearly showed a 22% discount off of the retail price and submitted it to Greg who runs the Parts Department. Greg was very friendly and receptive to my request and assured me that I would be properly taken care of. He checked his inventory and told me that he had the Crosstrek Sport side sill plates, splash guards, and crystal white body side moldings currently in stock. The other items such as the all-weather floor liners, crystal white door edge guards, and auto-dimming exterior mirrors with approach light would have to be ordered, and normally would take 3-5 days to arrive. Greg did say that the Christmas and New Year holidays may cause a slight delay as well which I was ok with. Well, it has been over 30 days and I still have not received any communication about the status of my order. As far as I am concerned, the entire order is now cancelled. If I decide to order these parts, I will patronize a different Subaru dealer for them. This sale of parts including labor probably would have amounted to over $1,500.00. This is just bad business, and not the way a car dealership should handle a repeat customer who just purchased a brand new vehicle. Back in 2019, I had nothing but positive things to say about Ramsey Subaru when I purchased our Impreza Premium sedan. I don't know what has happened in a little over 3 years, but it is not good. The "issue" with our brand new 2023 Crosstrek Sport not arriving with the options we expected and wanted, and now another 'issue" with the Parts Department. I would have preferred being able to give Ramsey Subaru a 5-STAR rating, which under normal circumstances I should have been able to do. Since I have been more fair to Ramsey Subaru than they have been to me, I will still give them a 3-STAR rating, as I did in my previous review, although truthfully I am not sure that they really deserve it. We just purchased in December 2022 a brand new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Sport from Ramsey Subaru. We are repeat customers, having purchased back in 2019 a Subaru Impreza Premium sedan from the same dealer Subaru Crosstrek Sport from Ramsey Subaru. We are repeat customers, having purchased back in 2019 a Subaru Impreza Premium sedan from the same dealership. We will not be purchasing anymore vehicles from them. No discount was given off the Crosstrek Sport's M.S.R.P. even though we were repeat customers. The Crosstrek Sport that we settled on had far fewer options than the one we thought we were getting due to a printout of that same vehicle's window sticker being "altered" by the Ramsey Subaru salesman to show the options we had originally wanted. The V.I.N. window sticker of the Crosstrek Sport shown to us ended up being a vehicle that was already being advertised on Ramsey Subaru's website, and actually contained far fewer options. When we were called by Deven, the Ramsey Subaru salesman that the vehicle had arrived, he made no mention that the majority of options we had wanted were not installed. We were willing to wait for the correct and properly optioned Crosstrek Sport to be located and/or manufactured, but were told by Clayton, the General Sales Manager that there was only a 70% chance that we would receive the vehicle with the options we had wanted. The salesman was wrong in not contacting us immediately when he saw that the Crosstrek Sport had arrived with far fewer options than what we had expected. Subaru happens to make great vehicles, and we will not hesitate in purchasing another one, just not at Ramsey Subaru. I will shop around in the near future so that there are no "screw-ups" like what we just went through. On a "positive" note, my wife does like her brand new Crosstrek Sport. This is where the 3-STAR rating comes from for Ramsey Subaru. More

My '21 Crosstrek was hit last Friday by a fallen tree. It's been a stressful week, waiting to hear from the insurance adjuster as to how much damage and how much they would give me to fix it. Oh no, now I have to shop for a new car during the holidays???!! As we all know, car shopping isn't like it used to be. I thought it would take weeks if not longer to get the car I wanted. Was I going to have to settle for something I really didn't like just to have a car to drive? Looked online this morning and saw that Ramsey Subaru might have the exact model in the color I wanted. Is it still available? Yes, it is! Can I make the 1.5 hour trip there today to make this car mine? Yes, I can! What started as an inquiry at 9 am turned into me driving off the lot at 1 pm in my new white Subaru Crosstrek Sport! Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and extremely helpful. 12/29/2022- As a new Subaru car owner. which was purchased from Ramsey, NJ Subaru, it was now time to take the car into service for its 1st service visit . Its the 6 month service - oil which was purchased from Ramsey, NJ Subaru, it was now time to take the car into service for its 1st service visit . Its the 6 month service - oil change, tire checks, rotation. Subaru Service Dept is located at 27 McKee Drive Mahwah and it is a bit up the road from the Ramsey Subaru Sales building. I pulled into one of the bays, and before I had a chance to get out of the car, I was immediately greeted by a very pleasant employee. He asked some questions, told me what was going to be done with the car and had me go inside the Service area to sign in with the Service Rep -John Kane. John is very professional and thoughtful. He explained what services my car would get and about how long my visit was going to be. He explained what was available in the very impressive waiting area and that he would come and get me when my car was finished. The Service Dept was very busy but seemed to run very smoothly and the large, very comfortable waiting area was full of customers waiting. All calm customers too. After awhile, John came back to me to make sure everything was okay, if I needed anything and that my car was almost ready. When the car was ready, John came back for me and the car was now parked in the bay in the" leaving lane" ( not parked outside somewhere ) . I then pulled up to the bay door, which they opened and out I went. Wow, wow, wow – Very impressive. Seeing is believing. Thats white glove treatment ! Ratings ????? = I say EXCELLENT in all categories !!!!!!!! More
