This is the second new car we have purchase from this dealer. Their service department is terrific because they never do more than necessary, and keep you comfortable while waiting or drive you to your dealer. Smooth, Easy, Professional, Honest, & Safe Ramsey Subaru was the third Subaru dealership we had dealt with in the past week, and by far the best. They were very prompt in their responsiveness, as well as open and honest with their pricing and fees. We dealt with Mauricio right from the beginning, and he was friendly and professional, as well as super helpful and quick to respond via email, phone calls or text. We got a good vibe right away, so we drove to NJ (we're from CT; the CT dealers were not as impressive) to check out the car. The car was exactly as described, and all pricing and fees previously discussed were honored, so we bought the car. The were also able to offer competitive financing, which beat the financing I had already secured through our bank. Mauricio even had us follow him to their service center down the street so we could purchase the wheel locks we wanted, and he installed them immediately himself. On a COVID-19 note, they were also very safe and clean. It was appointment only, everyone (employees and customers) was required to wear a mask, they practiced social distancing, and their sales were conducted in their open service bays, so no customer had to actually enter the building/be inside. Overall, just a really pleasant experience from start to finish! We would definitely recommend Ramsey Subaru! More

Sales Guy was good. Financing was shady. I bought a car in the middle of a pandemic. Everything about the dealership made me feel safe compared to others that I was considering. This one does not, which is a credit to the management (1). The Sales guy was great (2). Those two reasonas are why this is a three star review instead of one. Unfortunately, this was a transaction in slow motion. It took several days to find the car that I wanted to buy due to NJ State requirements for cleaning between test drives (no hit to the dealership's star rating due to this hurdle -- it appears they complied with requirements, which was actually reassuring). I obtained financing through my credit union, which took a few days. However, the dealership refused to honor the check. I'm sorry, but that is not OK. The Finance guy tried to pin the blame on the Sales guy (who was great -- plus one star). Let's be realistic. The Finance guy has a conflict of interest. Yes. He helps you get financing, but he also tries to sell you a warranty that you don't need or want. If you show up with a check from another bank for the agreed sale amount, he won't be able to up-charge you. Total time from first test drive to completion was 10 days. There is no star impact for length of transaction. I'm just noting it for others who might be contemplating buying a car during COVID. So, this is a one star review for the Finance guy refusing to honor my credit union's check. Add a star for the Sales guy. Add a star for the COVID precautions. That's how we get to three stars. I selected "No" on recommending this dealership due to the finance hurdles. If they want a "Yes" all they have to do is agree to take my credit union's money. More
