Overall a terrible experience. Scheduled through my Volvo app and requested a loaner car, then a few days before my appointment my spouse happened to double check the appoint and saw that it said I would wai app and requested a loaner car, then a few days before my appointment my spouse happened to double check the appoint and saw that it said I would wait for the car - certainly not what I indicated. When I got to the dealership, the man who checked in my car, John, never had his mask any higher than his nose, and 90% of the time wore it like a chin strap. He told me the 40,000 mile service would take 2 hours, then, when I asked for the loaner, he told me they’d “try to have it done by the end of the day”. After the service, which was free of charge because we paid for the 100,000 mile extended warranty on the vehicle we bought certified pre-owned, the invoice stated that the brakes were not flushed “at the owner’s request”, which I absolutely did not indicate or request. Now my spouse is trying to figure out what happened, and it’s sounding like the dealership only worked up to a certain monetary amount and didn’t do all the service that should have been done at the 40,000 mile servicing. Very disappointed in their customer service and communication, this seems Like a very shady practice. More
