Randy Kuehl Honda responded

Hello! If the light you reference is shaped like a little engine, that check engine light requires a factory trained Honda technician to diagnose with the help of a Honda diagnostic computer. Upon completion of the oil change, the check engine light does not get reset as a part of that service. The engine inspection is checked "green" as a result of a visual inspection by the lube technicians for any type of leak. The check engine light requires a Honda main shop technician to diagnose the check engine light following the Honda diagnostic process laid out in the service manual. Once a diagnostic trouble code(s) is determined, the tech will follow the diagnostic laid out in the manual to get to a resolve for the repair. If you would like the check engine light diagnosed please schedule an appointment with our service advisors or on line at randykuehl.com and we will then be able to inform you what part(s) need replacement.
