I would have given 5 stars but they tried to sell me $99 worth of service and product I didn't need. I took the car in for 20,000 mile oil change. The oil change was prompt and reasonably priced. The service rep tried to sell me a new engine air filter and cabin air filter for $99. Those two filters are not even recommended in the owner's manual for B 1 service (which is the level of service at 20,000 miles). Plus, installing those 2 filters takes about 10 minutes. The filters and installing them are WAY over-priced. I felt they were trying to take advantage of me. We're new to the area and this was the closest Honda dealer, but I'm not sure I'll be going back. We got off to a precarious start with an intermittent battery which they would not replace under warranty because it kept checking good with their tester. They determined a bad starter which was ordered battery which they would not replace under warranty because it kept checking good with their tester. They determined a bad starter which was ordered but I told them I was very skeptical because we've had this problem before. The starter wasn't installed because FINALLY the battery checked bad after the car went dead for them. They replaced the battery under warranty and the problem was solved. I appreciated they listened to me and didn't just go ahead and replace the starter which turned out to be okay. Service manager John Geiger was great and I know intermittent problems can be frustrating. We have been doing business with Randy Kuehl for 30 years and they have always been top notch! More
