06 Civic manual transmission clutch and air conditioning Clutch friction point was too low and at times, when pushed to the floor-board, still would not shift properly. Diagnosis was air in the hydraulic lin Clutch friction point was too low and at times, when pushed to the floor-board, still would not shift properly. Diagnosis was air in the hydraulic line due to leaky master / slave cylinder, and repair was to replace master / slave cylinder, re-establishing clutch hydraulic pressure. While the resulting pressure seemed to raise the friction point some, the friction point was still lower than it ought to be. Allegedly there is no adjustment, and the only option may be to replace the clutch. It is a 14 year old vehicle, so that may well be what is needed. It may be reason to trade in on a newer Civic. Air conditioning also did not cool. A dysfunctional relay was diagnosed to be an issue. Replacement of the relay did seem to fix the issue. More
