Team Van My husband is picky when it comes to choosing a new vehicle. I on the other hand only have 1 or two requests -- 1. a Van, 2, a DVD player. My husband really wanted an Odyssey and happened to find two that fit what we wanted, but unfortunately sold before we got to look at them. Tim made sure to check in with his manager and got back to us in a very timely manner letting us know another was coming in! Needless to say, we brought home the van we wanted and had great customer service in the process! Tim made sure we understood how everything worked in the van before we left and insured we could call with any questions we may have. We felt like human-beings throughout the entire process. We will definitely be repeat customers in the future! More

Poor customer experience My 03 Honda Accord had the brake, battery, and ABS lights came on while I was driving to work.I immediately drove over to R. K. Honda to have it check My 03 Honda Accord had the brake, battery, and ABS lights came on while I was driving to work.I immediately drove over to R. K. Honda to have it checked out. They told me it was an o2 sensor causing this problem and it would be safe to drive it home.I took my car home and it didn't start the next day. I had it towed back to Honda that morning. I had Honda take a look at my car again and it was a bad alternator causing the problem. If Honda had diagnosed it correctly,I wouldn't have had a tow bill and been late for work.I even had to pay $129 diagnostic fee in order to get my car back the first time I took it in. They did deduct it from my bill, but they kept the $9.03 tax they charged with it. Finally, they were incredibly late picking me up on the shuttle. The van arrived about 5:30 and got back to the dealership just before 6. This was the worst experience I have ever had there! Updated review: I promptly received a call from Paul Thulin concerning the problems I had at Honda. He was going to send me a check to cover my towing bill, tax, and clips. I appreciate the honesty from R. K. Honda in admitting the problem with my car was misdiagnosed.This has greatly improved my experience with R. K. Honda. More

For $63, the service department confirmed that was the problem, and that it would cost an additional $300 for the lock to be fixed. The sum of $63 struck me as too high simply for confirmation of the problem I had already identified, and the amount of almost $400 struck me as too expensive for a 12-year old Fit that might be worth $2,500 total. It appears to me that in coming to a dealership, one is paying for a lot of extra people and overhead. I recognize this dealership is in business to make a profit, but I usually take my car to a smaller shop so I can speak directly with the person who will be doing the work and we can discuss the options and how to proceed. More
