After thinking about a different car for many many months (and almost as much time looking at possibilities), she selected a beautiful pre-owned Accord that was in nearly perfect condition inside and out (difficult to recognize it was not just driven off the lot). We worked with Chanin Dirks, whom my mom had met on earlier trips when looking at purchase options and to find out the trade-in value on her prized, low-mileage Honda. Chanin truly went above and beyond for us. His superior level of service, thorough explanations and answers to our many questions, friendliness, willingness to help in any way possible and availability, even on his day off, made the selection and the purchase possible. As an added bonus, it was also fun and enjoyable! Chanin made the CarFax and service records about the car available to us. We independently conducted a number of pricing/condition/mileage comparisons prior to making the decision, both on the "new" car and also for the trade in. The final price was extremely fair. Combined, these factors provided my mom with great peace of mind about her choice and also about the care the car (and she) would receive at Kuehl Honda after the sale. This also made me feel good as she had been worrying about many aspects of making the change to a new car. In addition, Chanin washed the car himself so we could closely inspect the paint condition, arranged for small paint nicks and imperfections to be fixed and provided an additional electronic key, none of which would have been required for a pre-owned car. When we drove away after picking up the car, it truly seemed as if we had purchased a never-before-owned vehicle. We also greatly appreciated the help, kindness and patience of Brenda, the business manager, as we worked through the numerous documents required to finalize the purchase. For many years, my mom has had her prior car serviced at Randy Kuehl with the highest level of satisfaction. Beware of Used car sales Used vehicle purchased July 29, 2014, we drove car, checked Carfax, etc. on October 3, engine light came on, called the dealership for service and th Used vehicle purchased July 29, 2014, we drove car, checked Carfax, etc. on October 3, engine light came on, called the dealership for service and they had it come in on Monday, October 6th. After 3 hours in the service department waiting room, a technician came out and said that might be bad gas and asked where I filled the tank last. He said he would let it run longer. Then about an hour or so later, he came out and said that the car had "thrown a rod." I questioned this because the car drove fine to the dealership and there was no engine noise. I knew enough to know you can't drive a car with a thrown rod. The repair was going to be $3800. I left the dealership and left the car there to determine what to do. I had several questions after getting home, like how could I possibly had driven the car if that were true? If it had thrown a rod, it happened in the service department while they were trying to figure out what was wrong. The salesman offered to trade it in for $3200. (one-third of what I purchased it for 65 days ago) Then after a few emails of questions, which never got answered, the service manager said that it was a bad head gasket and radiator. I decided to have the car towed to another mechanic. What they found was that the gasket was the problem and there is ample evidence that the problem had existed longer than 2 months, so they sold the car to me with that knowledge, and supposedly their service department checks the cars out before selling. Ironically, we just got the 3 month email for the first oil change :) So, I want to make sure that others are careful about where they purchase a car. I researched the carfax and other things about the car, but I never researched the dealership and have since found negative reviews of their service. It is just as important to check out who you buy a car from, as well as the car itself. More

Trent clearly answered the questions we had and showed us a few cars that matched what we were looking for. The test drive sealed the deal for us and we knew we found the right car, the right sales person and the right dealership.
