I do not believe that Mark Zerka wanted to give me a good deal on a vehicle. He was looking to sell a vehicle not gain customer appreciation or retain future business. I believe that he played with the num deal on a vehicle. He was looking to sell a vehicle not gain customer appreciation or retain future business. I believe that he played with the numbers and tried to make me believe that he was doing me a favor but in actuality he was trying to recoup money by charging me a ludicrous amount of money for nonsense such as a $200.00 fee for paperwork!? The vehicle on the lot was priced at $ 8994.00. He said he would give me $500.00 as a trade in on my 1999 Silverado but the bank required a $1000.00 down payment. The paperwork shows he gave me $1000.00 on my trade in but the actual price he put on the vehicle was $8500.00. When I tried to get an explanation he kept repeating the fact that he was "eating $500.00 on the trade in" The vehicle has been on the lot for several months and it looked great but mechanically I believe it was not worth the price I paid. When I left the dealership, I was happy to have a different car but I really felt like Mark Zerka was proud of his ability to dance around the truth and gain a profit off my inexperience. I feel it is important to mention that I did not feel the same way about the salesperson, Don Srda. Because Mr. Zerka is his supervisor, Don did not try to help me understand the numbers game and made mention of the fact that he "wasn't good at math" I am recently divorced after 25 years of marriage and this was my first time buying a vehicle on my own, I am looking for businesses that I can trust. This is not one of them. More
