Last month, I purchased a CPO IS 250. We decided on a CPO vehicle due to the "rigorous" inspection. In the beginning of the purchase process, our sales guy was great. When we met him in person, he was CPO vehicle due to the "rigorous" inspection. In the beginning of the purchase process, our sales guy was great. When we met him in person, he was friendly. However, we our confidence of the certification process has been extremely poor. I question whether or not the inspection was really done and the maintenance records are true. On the first day we received the car, the oil maintenance level indicator warning light popped up. The sales person, Ed, reassured me that it was done. Then we noticed that the auxillary audio input was not working properly. I contacted the sales person and he said it would be covered under warranty. I then noticed that a roof trim piece (covering from the front to back of the driver side roof was missing). I contact my sales person several times (at least 5 times with pictures), and he never responded back; unprofessional. Then when I took my car for a state inspection (i live in PA, dealer is in NJ), the state inspector said that the rear brake pad needs replacing. Our windshield wipers are also worn. Why is it that the certification process missed all these items? Did I really purchase a inspected car or was a premium just placed and the CPO label slapped on? Why is that my questions are being ignored? My sales person stressed the importance of a good rating on the survey. I cannot in good conscience give a good rating if my responses are being ignored. I understand that this is a used car, but I also was under the impression that a "CPO" vehicle would not be missing a roof trim, oil indicator light coming on (doubtful oil was even changed now), worn rear brake pads and windshield wipers), and unfunctional auxillary input. Loyalty, Respect, & Family. These words have many definitions’ but to my family and myself they mean everything. Well I can tell you they do and Lexus of Freehold lives and breathes these simple words. From my 1st Lexus to now a 6th in just over 3 years, Lloyd Rubenstein, Richard Majewski, Christopher Gioffre, and I cannot forget Joel and Duke, live by these words. This last purchase was for my mother. She had a 2009 RX lease that was coming to an end. After looking at other vehicles, she knew nothing would compare to a Lexus. Not only was it just another RX but also it came with knowing she would be taken care of. I do not know about you, but when your mother says, I love dealing with everyone at Freehold, they make me fell like family and I will be taken care of. I have no worries and neither should you about working with Lloyd and the rest of the Lexus of Freehold family. I know in less then two years, my wife and I will be on our 7th and 8th Lexus.
