I ended up not purchasing that car, and over a year later came back to purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle. The same salesman--Fabio Villa--still worked there and we picked up where we left off. After identifying the car I was interested in, which was located at a different Ray Catena location, Fabio had the car transferred over to White Plains where I got a test drive. After a little negotiation we had a deal. Fabio took care of everything, and then spent a long time with me taking me through all of the car's features AFTER he had already made the sale. More

The negotiation process went pretty smoothly (definitely smoother than any other car negotiation I've gone through) though you'll still want to do your homework before arriving, as with any car purchase. We are a convert from Mercedes- the dealership experience is just night and day. Mercedes requires you to make appointments for the privilege of being sold to by them, and their service department is nothing but annoying to deal with. Ray Catena Lexus, on the other hand, told me that they would pick my car up and drop off a loaner whenever I need service- that's just amazing. Time is what I'm shortest on in life, and having a dealer that respects that is just perfect. I plan to purchase another car through them soon. More
