They confirmed I had a service loaner the morning of first scheduled oil change as well as other service issues and then 2 hours before scheduled service I am told it was given to someone else. I spoke with 3 Volvo reps directly with Volvo recommending they get their Volvo contract pulled because this is not my first bad experience with this dealership on my new vehicle and it was just purchased in August. I cancel and reschedule my appointments which costs me money to accommodate a dealership that cant competently line up service loaners on their only real luxury brand. Brown daub will be getting all my business moving forward and buyer beware. Multiple loose and squeaky parts on my s90 T6 inscription. Unapologetic and not the place to buy a high end vehicle. Useless warranty Although I purchased a 2015 V60 still under factory warranty AND bought a $1800 Platinum plan extended warranty, when my check engine light came on le Although I purchased a 2015 V60 still under factory warranty AND bought a $1800 Platinum plan extended warranty, when my check engine light came on less than 7 months of ownership, the Ray Price Volvo service center would not honor the warranty. The Platform plan indicated it covered mechanical problems, they would not honor the warranty saying that a mouse had chewed through the electrical system and this negated any and all warranties. How is it that I have owned cars all my life and lived in the same residence for 40 years I have never had rodent issues. What's the point of purchasing a $1800 warranty if they put some many stipulations on what is covered and what's not covered? I think the customer is helping to offset the cost of the bright and shiny dealership by selling useless warranties to the vehicles purchased. So now I get to pay for my new used car, a useless $1800 extended warranty and all parts and labor incurred by so called rodent damage I will definitely not be buying any future vehicles from this dealership. But along with that I had needed to have checked out a leak in the front by the oncall and pilot sensor as well as my trunk . This leak goes on all the time . That is under a manufacture defect . I also needed an inspection which ray price also does as a courtesy to Volvo customers . They did the oil change and then told me that I needed new brakes and they had to do both the rotors as well as the pads . When they were questioned the adviser Don was a little stand offish . Hesitant to answer any questions . I can not fathom new rotors being needed on a car that #1 is only driven on the weekend ,#2 the car only has 20000 miles,#3 without showing me the rotors . The customer service in the service department had gone down since the last service manager . I took it upon myself to call Volvo corporate office and was told that rotors only need to be changed every other time you change pads . So why won't anyone give me an answer . Even the the saleS manager Jason is loosing his will to have show customer service . More
