Called Ray Skillman on Washington for servicing, engine light on says "engine power reduced" was given appt for 5/25. 5/25 called to confirm 10am appt, advd per Jay that 2 employees called off so wouldn’t light on says "engine power reduced" was given appt for 5/25. 5/25 called to confirm 10am appt, advd per Jay that 2 employees called off so wouldn’t be able to bring in that day, advd bring in 5/27. 5/27 took in 8am & advd Jay needed back ASAP because I was going OOT, called for update several times that day & the next Jay kept talking as if they were working on it but issue not yet resolved. 5/29 around 3pm rcvd call from Jay who stated was repaired & issue was simply “throttle disconnected from the turbo” (which means for 2 days I was lied to about car was being worked on). 5/30/21 – Drove car the next day & engine light back on. It’s the weekend so I left a message on Jay’s voicemail regarding. 6/7 given an appt for 6/9/21. Took car in @8am as per appointment, per Robin problem is air filter whereas throttle keep disconnecting from turbo meaning need extensive research from technician and because of backup of servicing of other cars won’t be able to check until 2-3 days, advd best to bring back next Tuesday (6/15) @ 8am & will be one of 1st car worked on, 6/15 – Took car back in @ 8am as advd, called @ 1pm, per Jay not yet looked @ (eventho was advd 6/9 would be worked on immediately), as always Jay says backed up, will check & Call me back regarding within hour, abt 1:30 claim Jay called claiming calling to let me know work needed might not be covered under warranty because work done in March by different Chevy dealership took some parts off & they need to break down engine to find the engine light problem, so suggested I take back to other dealership (simply passing the buck), I advd other dealership took nothing apart as he suggested, that the only issue they addressed (“Engine power reduced”) was exactly the same issue I brought into them for, however with Ray Skillman the engine light came back on the very next day & still acceleration issue, I advd I would go & get work order from other dealership to prove they took nothing apart that would cause repair not to be covered under warranty as he stated! I Did, as per other dealership & their work order they simply “reattached the snorkel tubing to the throttle”. Got copy of work order & took to Jay & advd as I told him other dealership & work order nothing was taken apart as he had insinuated, Jay now claim won’t be able to get to for a week or more because “technician has 5-6 engines broke down that’s being working on” he requested & took a copy of previous work order, still calm & patient I said fine I will call for ANOTHER APPT!! (4th one). As per my experience Ray Skillman provides extremely poor customer service, does not honor any of the appts given, lies about actually working on the car & instead of resolving the matter just tries to pass the buck & gives the run around!!!
