Auto units were listed on the Dealer's website before the cars actually arrived at the dealer, sales people did not know about the web contents until pointed out by customer. Website of the dealer (shawnee mission hyundai, KS) has pop down Instant message boxes which I found VERY annoying when reviewing the website. Dealer did not willing start a trade-in value at a reasonable price AND/OR to discount MSRP when dealing with price. More

I even told Felix that if he had the opportunity to work with someone else and make a sale to do so. Felix took his time with me, was understanding of my situation and decision not to buy at that time. He checked back in with me at the end of the month to see how I was feeling about buying. We talked and he and the sales manager made me an offer I couldn't refuse. My actual time to finalize paperwork was smooth and even when we added a last minute prep to the car before possession (that made it impossible to pick up the car when I had to leave to get home for the baby) Felix took the time to get me a loaner and then drive my car to me when it was ready that afternoon. Great guy, great staff and a GREAT experience! More

We were very impressed with the overall price of the Sonata Limited. It was definitely in our price range. I have driven an Infiniti for the last nine years and I feel that this Sonata has every option that my Infiniti had. We are so impressed and pleased with the looks of this new Sonata. We hope that our experience with this dealership will continue to be as helpful and dedicated for the long haul because we expect to continue our service with them for the future. Felix was great to work with. I felt comfortable with him and felt he had my best interest going into the deal. We had to drive to another dealership to test a manual transmission car and he drove me th him and felt he had my best interest going into the deal. It is my understanding that this is a survey regarding the entire process of purchase from start to finish, so please allow me to provide qualitative feedback about my experience. In the process of searching for a new vehicle, I had done extensive research with the help of friends and family. I felt prepared upon going into the dealership. The morning of my purchase, a friend and I had been instant messaging Scott Thouvenell regarding available options at the dealership. He was very helpful and willing to address any questions I had. I eventually decided to go up to Shawnee Mission Hyundai and amazingly enough, Scott drove up with some others in a vehicle and jumped out of the car to help. I couldn't believe that although I hadn't necessarily told him I was coming, he was the one available to help in the lot! He recognized it was us immediately and extended his help in finding exactly what I was looking for. His friendliness was outstanding. He was exactly what I was looking for in a car sales person. He was all about giving me the information I needed in order to make the most informed decision possible without putting a choke hold on me. He recognized when I needed time to be alone to ponder my thoughts, but was also conscientious enough to let me know where to find him should I have questions or concerns. He had the utmost professionalism and great customer service. His approach was one that I will continue to share with those closest to me. I have already had the opportunity to tell several people about the outstanding manner in which he does business... accolades to Scott Thouvenell! Although Scott and several others I came in contact with were incredible, I did feel slightly rushed during the financing portion. Some would feel as though this was a quick and seamless process, but many who don't buy a car or make large purchases every day such as myself, would probably feel less than satisfied with this portion of the overall experience. I acknowledge that it took me more time than the average person to make a final decision - I spent a good portion of the day wading through my options despite the fact that I felt prepared upon going in to visit. I simply think that it could have been handled a bit more thoughtfully and thoroughly. The price of my car was very good. It doesn't give me the option, but I would probably have rated it a 4.5 if I had the opportunity! In relation to other dealerships, it was exactly where I needed it to be to consider it as a possibility and eventually pull the trigger! I would also have rated customer service 4.5 overall. I came in contact with many individuals and felt comfortable being there. It was a clean facility and it was nice to feel welcome and respected. Mike Ball summed up my whole experience perfectly... Some people come in and point to the car they want and it's as easy as that and for some people it takes more time. I appreciated his understanding and his genuine concern that I felt the best I could about making the decision that was appropriate for me. You don't find that every day! A BIG thanks to the Shawnee Mission Hyundai employees - I LOVE my new car!!!!!!! More
