I appreciate the way Terry Mykins showed me all the features of my new Chrysler 300 and the respect he showed my daughter and me while we were there. We emailed an inquiry about a 2009 Dodge Ram listed on the dealer's website. A few emails to and from Brad Klaassen resulted in the following: We offered to purchase the truck for the asking price on the the dealer's website. A few emails to and from Brad Klaassen resulted in the following: We offered to purchase the truck for the asking price on the website if he could throw in a warranty. He said he would certify the truck and give us a free Chrysler factory warranty of 100,000 miles or until November 2015. We asked for a price "out the door", including the warranty, which Brad provided. We made a $500 down payment to hold the truck (as requested by Brad) and made an appointment with Beau Short in the finance office to finalize the purchase. At that time, Mr. Short informed us that Chrysler does not offer this warranty, but we could purchase a different warranty and he would certify the truck. We were stunned. We told him that Brad had already told us that the truck would be certified. We informed Mr. Short that the warranty Brad had offered us had "sealed the deal" for us and that we would accept a similar warranty from the dealer. After phone calls to the manager(?), in which Mr. Short called Brad an idiot, he said that the dealership could not provide what we had requested. We told Mr. Short that we were wasting our time and we walked out. We were wondering: Is there no communication between the salesman and the business office? Did the salesman know what type of warranty can be given? Didn't the salesman inform the business office regarding the deal he made with us? Was this a typical bait and switch? We thought Overland Park Dodge was a reputable dealer. There now is a big blemish on their reputation! So sad. More

In 2003 we bought a Jeep from Terry. Quite possibly the single most important reason for buying the Jeep was Terry. He took lots and lots of time with us. He answered every question we had. Finally my w single most important reason for buying the Jeep was Terry. He took lots and lots of time with us. He answered every question we had. Finally my wife asked him, "What other questions should we ask?" Terry had a bunch of them which caused us to believe that he's a very honest sales person and one we would want to work with in the future. So, when it came time for me to look at another new car, my first option was to stop at OP Jeep Dodge Chrysler Ram and talk with Terry. Again the reaction was similar. He answered every question I had and then some. The purchasing experience was as pleasant as any purchasing experience could be. Terry worked with me to determine exactly what it was I wanted in a car and then we began to look at opportunities. I walked in at 4:30 p.m. and drove out at 6:15 with a new Chrysler Town and Country. I'M HAPPY WITH IT AND WITH THE RESPONSE I RECEIVED FROM TERRY! More
I generally do not go to dealership service departments I generally do not go to dealership service departments and tend to avoid them like the plague. But, we needed some work on our Dodge truck and wer I generally do not go to dealership service departments and tend to avoid them like the plague. But, we needed some work on our Dodge truck and were told only Dodge could the ABS/Brake codes on our older model truck. I reluctantly took it to OP Dodge but, in the end I admit I was very pleased with my experience. The service manager was helpful and seemed competent - luckily they solved my issue quickly so I came out of the place spending less than $100. I like their parts department the most tho. The lady who works there is sharp and on the ball. She's always been very helpful any time I've called or stopped in to get things other parts places didn't have in stock. More

I worked with Terry Mykins, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly during the entire process, of test driving three different models and making multiple trips to make sure I was making the best decision for my own needs as well. I would recommend Terry, to anyone interested in a vehicle that OP Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler offers. It was a very easy process working with Terry as well as the Dealership as a whole. Nathan More
I had to have the PCM replaced and had to go to a Chrysler dealership to do this because the module had to be programmed by Chrysler. The repair itself seems to be OK, but 2 trouble lights were trig Chrysler dealership to do this because the module had to be programmed by Chrysler. The repair itself seems to be OK, but 2 trouble lights were triggered during the repair process. and the dealership wanted to tell me that they were on prior to the repair, and they were not. I didn't discover the lights until I left the dealership and returned home. I did receive a call the following day from a Liz, probably a customer service rep of some sort, asking if my visit was satisfactory and I told her no and related the trouble light problem as well as I had purchased a battery and I received nothing in the way of warranty paperwork. She told me she would report this to the service mgr. and I would be contacted. I was not, I had to contact John Boyd and ask them what might be done and he told me to bring the car in and they would see what could be done. I returned and they did manage to turn off the check engine light but made no attempt to reset the airbag light. Boyd's response was that the light was on prior to my repair and in his opinion the light had been on for quite some time. He felt the the van was old and had a high mileage and I probably hadn't worried about having it checked into. More
I had called in a month in advanced to have the Jeep that I bought from them serviced - for the routine check and this squeaking sound that my car makes everytime I press on the brakes. The day came and I I bought from them serviced - for the routine check and this squeaking sound that my car makes everytime I press on the brakes. The day came and I again told the employee that about the purpose of my visit. I got the car and less than a minute of driving heard the squeak again. I returned back and told him about it. He told me that I just needed to hit on the breaks more agressively. So I told him that one of the reasons why I brought in the car was because of this. He then told me that they have cleaned the dust on the breaks and that it was fine. How could it be fine when there is still the squeaking noise? I then told him for them to take a second look. He told me that I had to set up another appointment. I had to take that day off from work just to have my car serviced. I had to call back to cancel my appointment as I am extremely busy. I still have my car serviced there because I do not have a choice. I wanted it to be serviced by Jeep. On another instance, when I bought the car, they told me that they will call me after a few weeks to get my registration. They never called me back. When I came - after waiting for almost a month, they told me that they called up my cellphone and left a message -> I have my phonebill to prove it. This never calling back when promised happened in another instance. I had my car serviced and they told me that they will call me once its done. I went to the starbucks beside the dealership. Waited and waited until I just decided to call them up. They told me they called up but again, never did. On both occasions, I verified that my number was correct. The only reason why I vivit this place was because of the Jeep brand. On another note, on my most recent visit (Nov 16, 2011), I can sense a change. The person that welcomed me ( I think he's name was Zachary) was extremely nice and professional, the cashier was polite too. They did not have to call me back to tell me that my car was fixed as the guy just personally told it to me. Hope this one's not a fluke. More
