Dealership Made a Significant Issue with Chrysler Bearable I special ordered a vehicle with a Fiat diesel engine. I was told delivery would be 9-14 weeks. After 14 weeks neither the dealer nor I had an updat I special ordered a vehicle with a Fiat diesel engine. I was told delivery would be 9-14 weeks. After 14 weeks neither the dealer nor I had an update. Turns out the engine was being investigated by the EPA for a similar emissions testing violation that got Volkswagen in deep trouble. Unfortunately, Chrysler didn't notify me or the dealer about the issue. Finally, after three months, the dealer got a letter the same day that the issue hit the press. I had to reorder the vehicle as a gasoline engine and wait for 9-14 weeks again. OP Jeep Dodge Ram Chrysler tried to expedite the delivery based on the first order issue. They had no luck, but they made the effort. Finally after six months the vehicle arrived. Terry Mykins kept me informed as often as he received information on the build and shipment of my vehicle. He also recommended a new upfitter to add some cargo area modifications. I thought that dealing with Terry Mykins Overland Park Jeep Dodge Ram Chrysler was an excellent experience when compared to many car dealers. Pricing was fair, customer service was outstanding. My only complaint is not with the dealership but with Chrysler who failed to keep us informed about the delay. More
