From the road in we could see an amazing looking truck in the front row. The type of truck that car lots only put out there to show off, not the type of truck that my wife and I expected to be able to afford. So we pull in and meet Steve Schulte, great guy and salesman. We discuss our situation and what we are looking for and where we are from (out of state). He asked if I see anything I like and mention the bright red Dodge Ram out in front. We take it for a drive and I'm hooked on it, we talk about numbers and how there is a huge discount and rebate deal going on for this truck. He even found that there was a extra discount through the company I work for I had never known about. I also told him that we had been out all day already dealing and that time was an issue... All said and done we talked, test drove, crunched numbers, appraised and traded a car, got financed and bought a truck in less that 2 hours and some how Steve found time to fill the gas tank and have the car washed. Never have I had such a smooth time as a buyer. It was a great experience all around. My wife said its not everyday you get to drive off in the best looking vehicle in the whole car lot. He helped me find the perfect fit for what I was wanting, and made sure to get me the best price on everything. That being said, there was no haggling involved to get the price i wanted. The actual sales experience with Chris was great. I already knew what i was looking for (charger scat pack) and we hopped in the plum crazy one on the lot and i was on a test drive in minutes. Test drive was no pressure. We talked about some of the cars features and about how it felt as i was driving around. I was given freedom to find my own test drive route. There was no pressure or talk about what I wanted to spend, down payments, etc. i was able to concentrate on the drive and the car. We took a look at a second scat pack that was available and again, no pressure. we discussed the option differences and i debated with both Chris and myself on which one i wanted. In the end i ended up with the plum crazy instead of white and i couldn't be happier. definitely less pressure and hassle than what i experienced at another local dodge dealer. More
