Very professional and courteous. Not the cheapest, but worth the $. They've come a long way from what this dealership was 10-15 years ago. Not the cheapest, but worth the $. They've come a long way from what this dealership was 10-15 years ago. More
Went to dealership to see about helping my 18 yr old daughter buy her first “own” vehicle. Was greeted by Slick “Jerome”. Of course he didn’t listen to anything said at the greeting. I told him she was daughter buy her first “own” vehicle. Was greeted by Slick “Jerome”. Of course he didn’t listen to anything said at the greeting. I told him she was a first time buyer, with no established credit, had a certain amount that’s she could be put down, and had two verifiable jobs that she’s had over a year. I told him we were intrested in pre owned Hondas or Toyotas only. So before qualifying her, he brings out a 2024 Civic sport. This car was super nice, but came in at around $33k. He made her drive it and of course she loves it. He then goes and runs the numbers with his manager, and comes back saying that car won’t work, that we need to find a “cheaper” car. I’ve done sales, cheap isn’t a word you should use when trying to push your product. “Less expensive” would be a better term. We then go with him to the underprivileged used lot. Sketchy building with sketchy people. He then tries to flip her to a HRV. Saying, “all the kids love these cars”! How cheesy can you be? It was nothing in the realm of what you first pushed her towards, and not anything like what we told you she was looking for. He then tried to push a 2020 Civic. It was nice, had low miles, and could possibly work with what we needed. My daughter though, wasn’t in love with the color, and in my opinion, it’s her first purchase, her money, and she’s going to be on the hook for 5-6 years with a car payment over $500. She should love it, not settle. There’s just too many other options out there for her to have to. When we told him this, he began to speak to her so condescendingly. Making her feel stupid for not wanting this car. After I stepped in and firmly told him it wasn’t for her, he begrudgingly said he’d check with the manager to see if we had any other options. Now honestly, I knew it would be a fight to find what she wants on her own, and if they had no options at this time I’m ok with that. BUT to use the tone and dialog he did with a young woman, a first time buyer, was unacceptable. I was pissed! My daughter was very upset. I told her we were leaving and walking back to our car. Which was a good city block away. We did so, leaving ole “Slick Jerome” doing whatever he was doing. During my walk I began to boil. Once we made it back to the car, I sent my daughter to the car to sit down while I spoke to Jerome’s manager. I proceeded to tell him heatedly, what she and I had experienced. And that we would never come to this establishment again. He was polite and apologized for ole Jerome. But better training on how to speak to future buyers would be more appreciated. Stay away from Regal, or at the most, don’t deal with “Slick Jerome”! More

Shalymov was helpful in a number of ways: prompt, kind, and knowledgeable just to name a few. I would specifically request his help in future appointments going forward. and knowledgeable just to name a few. I would specifically request his help in future appointments going forward. More
