Vincent was great to work with, very kind and thorough. I came in with a list of five cars I wanted to see, and he allowed me to take my time looking at each one and answered all the questions I had. The financial department is slow; I had to have a cosigner and they 'guaranteed' that if we did the preapproving over the phone that once I got my cosigner up there, we would be done in 30 minutes tops with signing the papers. That was not the case, we waited 2.5, almost 3, HOURS before they would take us back to sign, we were not the only ones getting annoyed, there were others as well. Also, sales management will not hold up to their 10 day price match guarantee. I looked at two 2019 corolla's - both marked for 13,995, and offered them 13,000 for the one I ended up buying, due to Kelley blue book value; they said no (but agreed to a 220 monthly payment - that'll be mentioned next), Tim would not budge except for the 'agreed' payments. FOUR days later, the other corolla plus three more were listed on their site for 12,995 I went up on day seven (soonest I was able to) for their 10 day 100% refund the difference 'guarantee' and they REFUSED! Gave me the run around about why they wouldn't agree. Bottom line, it was most likely due to my gender and them thinking I don't know what I was talking about. I may be female, but I know about cars! Now for my agreed 220 a month payment. Tim eventually did agree to a 220 a month payment including tax, title and gap insurance - he lied! And the Financial department talked me into a warranty for an extra '20' a month. Now, mind you, basic math says 220+20=240, the minimum payment ended up being 240+20something which made my payments close to 270 a month! Way more than the agreed amount! Only reason I went ahead with the purchase was because I needed the car and it was the only one that fit my needs after a month of looking. I also wanted to do more down than they had me put, why I am not sure, it's my money so I should be able put down what I want. I'm going to have to really watch my finances to make sure I can make my payments! Also, all car lots are to give minimum two keys per purchase, they only gave me one, stating that is all they had on file. Yet, they have another 'guarantee' that they will make one if your key is lost or stolen. Sounds to me that the other key is LOST yet they will not make a spare key for me. Will never purchase from Ricart again, unless they see this and fix these issues that they say are guaranteed agreements to make things right, and will tell everyone I know to stay away. Stereotypical car dealer, if you are female, they think you know nothing. So don't listen to them about the so called guarantees, they will NOT honor them. Stay away, you can do better! More
