Never going back! I am a returning customer to Ricart in Columbus and have always had somewhat good experiences but I will no longer buy anything there ever again after I am a returning customer to Ricart in Columbus and have always had somewhat good experiences but I will no longer buy anything there ever again after our experience yesterday. We found a SUV that we really liked, price seemed low for a 2018 but we thought, finally getting a great deal. I even mentioned it to our salesmen, Sean, but he didn’t act like anything was wrong. So we test drove it and decided to get the deal rolling. Filled out the application and the trade in information, even took our vehicle for inspection. At this time the salesmen did say the price was a mistake but they had to honor sticker price. Salesman came back with crazy high monthly payment options, which we questioned would not be right because the monthly payments would be more than our truck payment which was twice as much as SUV. So, he left and came back with a better , but still high monthly payment. When we questioned how much we were actually financing we no longer saw Sean but a guy named Kevin came along, I think he said he was manager. He had arrogance written all over him. He still made us believe we were still getting suv for sticker price and the monthly payment we agreed upon and then the staged phone call happened. He gets off phone and said his boss wanted to show us something that they don’t normally show customers. It was a price $3000 more than what the sticker price was. He said they made a mistake, the wrong price on sticker but we can sell it to you for actual cash value. At this point we were shocked. We had been dealing with Sean for 2 hours, by the way at this point was no where to be found, thinking one price and then now this guy says he’s sorry but can’t give it to us for that price because our fortune would be someone else’s misfortune. WOW...like $3,000 will make that much of difference to a franchise that sells thousands of cars. I know this review won’t mean nothing to them because they still have thousands of customers but I have never been treated like this before and wanted to express my disappointment. It was 2 hours of wasted time not only for us but for the salesmen but at least we didn’t cause any misfortune for anyone else! Wow...really??? More
