Very mixed experience We found a vehicle we were very interested in online. We were met by Deshawn and his trainee, Charity as we exited our vehicle. Both were pleasant and knowledgeable and did not try to “push” the sale. We were disappointed in the trade value given, but managed to come to terms with a reasonable deal. We were then invited to join the finance individual, Shawn Cottrill. As it turn out, Shawn was very interested in upselling extended warranties, gap insurance, key insurance, and the rest of the malarkey...on a vehicle with > 30,000 miles left on the manufacturer basic warranty. “No” was an insufficient response to this condescending jerk. We retrieved the keys to our original vehicle, told Mr. Cottrill we were done and were headed for the door. Only because the manager expressed his regrets and apologies did we complete the deal, sans Cottrill. A customer should never have to hear that he or she is making bad decisions, and “I wish you luck” because you did not bow to the extras being pushed. Pushing seven decades on this earth means I don’t have to listen to any condescending crap, nor do I expect to be treated as an idiot. That said, I love the car, I am pleased with DeShawn and Charity, I thank the manager for being man enough to apologize, but in the finance department, Mr. Cottrill is now, and forever will be a deficit to your company. More
