Scammers This dealer is a scam artist. After inspecting our trade we were told there was frame damage and they couldn't sell it and they would have to report i This dealer is a scam artist. After inspecting our trade we were told there was frame damage and they couldn't sell it and they would have to report it to carfax, etc. now that frame damage was found so it would have to go to auction. We would also have a hard time selling it ourselves now because they" had an obligation to report the damage".We were unaware and never told about frame damage when we bought it used. They made us think they were doing us a huge favor just by taking it from us because it wasn't safe. We got completely hosed on our trade but we thought we had dodged a bullet by getting rid of an unsafe vehicle. We got an inspection report on it from them and everything. Over a year later we decided to pull a carfax report on the truck. And guess what?! No frame damage listed, no auction and Ricart sold it from their dealership a month after they took it from us!!! It was even registered and maintained before being sold again. I just wish I knew what it was sold for so I could have concrete proof. Don't believe a word they say, especially if it involves your trade. More
