Very Disappointed Customer Overall my experience at Ricart was incredibly disappointing. Over the course of the weekend I spent 8 hours in the dealership. I had found the car Overall my experience at Ricart was incredibly disappointing. Over the course of the weekend I spent 8 hours in the dealership. I had found the car I wanted to purchase within the first hour. The rest of my time was spent sitting around waiting for employees to help me finalize my purchase. The saleswoman who helped me, Catrice Mitchell and Chris Wright were both very helpful and I think they did a great job. My wife and I returned to the dealership Monday evening to sign the final papers. I was told on Saturday it should not take more than one hour. They had us sit in the waiting area for 2 hours. I was told numerous times that it shouldn't be more than a few more minutes. Finally, I asked a salesman to tell Jerome Richards I was leaving in 10 minutes if i am not helped. 10 minutes I was helped but greeted with a smug apology. When I finally got the key to my car I asked for the second set of keys for my wife. I was told that I needed to visit the Chrysler dealership and could have one made for around $150. Also, there were NO floor mats in the car. I could not help but feel like I was 'nickel and dimed' the entire way through this experience. Later in the week I took a survey in which I expressed how unhappy I was at their dealership. I received an email saying a representative will be contacting you soon. No one ever did. I also wrote an email where I expressed how I would like to speak to somebody. No one ever took the time to get back to me. In my opinion their customer service is non-existent. I could not be less happy with my car buying experience and I would urge all future car buyers to look at other dealerships and only go to Ricart as a last resort. More

Extra effort goes a long way Ray was very helpful. Things didn't start off well, when the car I wanted to test drive had a flat, but he took the car right over to service and call Ray was very helpful. Things didn't start off well, when the car I wanted to test drive had a flat, but he took the car right over to service and called me as soon as they replaced the tires. This was my first time buying a car at a dealership and he made it very easy. Drew handled all my paperwork, and explained everything in layman's terms for me. He also has a Rose Bowl ring. Once everything was done, I had a rental at the time and Ray followed me over to Enterprise so that I could drop it off, which made everything even more convenient. In 5-6 years (hopefully) when i'm looking for another car, I'll definitely look Ray/Ricart up first. More
Thought I had no chance, but they helped! I had a trade in but when they did appraisal they found out, and I found out, that the buy here pay here I bought my trade in from had been keeping so I had a trade in but when they did appraisal they found out, and I found out, that the buy here pay here I bought my trade in from had been keeping some things from me. The car had been totaled before! Needless to say, I did come up with a small down payment and they called me as soon as they found something within my budget and my needs/wants. Brian O Malley is a newer salesman but he was friendly and had a good sense of humor but seemed knowledgeable too. John Thorton was also really excellent on helping us finance the car even though it seemed as if it were not going to happen. Everything was really great, hope the car stays running well and then I'd have an awesome car lot to go to anytime. More

He did everything he could to help us. The gentlemen, James, who finished up our financing portion of the transaction was great. He was friendly and helped us out as much as he could as well. Let me tell you I was kind of worried about coming to ricart to buy a car. I've only heard bad reviews from people I know. I did not have that experience. I would definitely recommend Chris and ricart to everyone I know. Thank you Chris, James, and ricart for a wonderful visit and my first dealership vehicle purchase. More

However, we decided to give Ricart a try since we wanted to trade in our vehicle for something newer with better gas mileage. We worked with David Whitt and he was wonderful. He listened to our needs, was very down-to-earth, honest, and friendly. Never pushy. Because of him, and the finding the car we really liked at a really good price, we decided to buy. All went great, my only complain was that it took awhile to do the paperwork. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I would definitely go there again. Also as a side note - the washer fluid hose on our newly-purchased car popped off and caused all the fluid to leak out the bottom of the car. We called and they got us in immediately to the service department and fixed it promptly. Yay! More
