This is the third vehicle my wife and I have purchased from Ricart. The 2 main reasons we go is selection and price. We have been to other dealers but ,again, you can't beat the price. Russell Donahue was fantastic! He allowed us to look around at every single vehicle in the lot without pressuring us to purchase. Every dealership should train their guys to be like him. The sales supervisor, Steve Holsinger, is why we will not be coming back or referring anyone to this dealership. The vehicle we ended up going home with was sold to us at around $14,000 (or so we thought). That is the price that Russell and us came to an agreement on and when he passed it on to his supervisor to get paperwork ready, something was changed. It wasn't until later that we realized the term for financing was increased by 6 months, and the amount the supervisor had us finance (NOT KNOWN TO US) was $19,800!!!! It was our fault for not reading the fine print until later, but I guess that's what you get for trusting what a Ricart supervisor says to your face. After getting into the car, before we even drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on... On top of that, they didn't even fill up the tank. It was on E... I had to go back into the Used Car Factory and find Steve to basically beg him to fill up the tank. He claimed their onsite gas station was closed and instead just gave us a $25 Shell gas gift card, which definitely didn't fill it. I had to come back the next day and miss a day of work so they could fix what was wrong with the car (we live over an hour away from Ricart). FOREWARNING: If you are set in your decision to buy a used car from here, don't work with Steve Holsinger! Russell Donahue was GREAT though!! More
The reason I rated the way I did was because the process of buying a vehicle at Ricart Used Cars was fast, easy and fun. Keeping the customer moving made the process seem less stressful. Even the signing of all the papers in the finance area was pleasant. The fact that you make sure the vehicles are in safe running condition, and not just put the cars on the lot, is much appreciated. The guy I dealt with was a moron to put it nicely. Every time he said he was going to get paper work 15 minutes would go by and he would be sitting with someone else. I was approved for the loan but due to this guys conduct and unprofessionalism I walked out and told the very nice sales guy that his supervisor just cost him a sale. Needless to say I went strait to their competition and got a better deal without someone not knowing their own job and treating a customer like a customer. More

I had spoken to John Thornton on the phone prior to going to the dealership, so he knew what I was interested in. He brought the car to the front of the dealership for me to look at and then suggested that to the dealership, so he knew what I was interested in. He brought the car to the front of the dealership for me to look at and then suggested that we go out to the lot and see what else I might like, so I had more than one to choose from. I was very happy we did this and ended up choosing one additional vehicle to test drive. I ultimately chose the one that I originally called about. John kept me informed as to what was happening every step of the way. If I ever am in the market for another vehicle, I will definitely go back to Ricart and John Thornton. More
For the above categories Ricart was great. However, the car I test drove and ultimately bought was not the one I saw online and called about. That one had a sun roof and leather interior. I ultimately bought the,car because of the price, condition,and helpfulness of Rick. I also appreciated the professional attitude of e financing department. I just felt tricked. Like the car online probably sold and I was told it was still available just to get me in the showroom. I had heard that Ricart did this bait and switch to others. That fact alone will most likely keep me from purchasing from Ricart when I need another vehicle.. More
