My husband and I were extremely pleased with the customer service at Ricart. The car lot is huge and can be overwhelming, but we were greeted at the door by Matt and the process went smoothly. This company was quite unprofessional in setting up our appointment. We were driving two hours to see a specific car. We called and made an appointment for the next day and told the salesman which car we w appointment. We were driving two hours to see a specific car. We called and made an appointment for the next day and told the salesman which car we were interested in. The day of the appointment, the salesman called before we were on our way to confirm we were still coming. Then, as we were over halfway to the car lot, he called again to tell us that the car we were coming to see was no longer available because it had been sent to auction that morning - which was long before his first phone call to me. We did go ahead and go to the dealership, and dealt with another salesman, but were hesitant to do business with them. Once we found another car we were interested in, the description, and thus the price, has errors in it. For example, the description said alloy wheels but the car had steel wheels with hubcaps, all of which were significantly scratched. After much negotiating, the salesman agreed to order us a set of four new hubcaps - he offered just two and was not going to budge but we convinced him the car would look ridiculous with two severely scratched and two brand new. Overall we were happy with the car, but disappointed that they made commission on our purchase because their service was severely lacking. More
I compared 3 cars from 3 dealers (2012 Chevy Malibu) - Ricart, Bobby Layman and Byers Chevrolet. It was interesting to note that the Ricart car was far more superior than the other 3 in quality and size a Ricart, Bobby Layman and Byers Chevrolet. It was interesting to note that the Ricart car was far more superior than the other 3 in quality and size and it was better priced. I really like Jesse Hernandez. He was calm, cool, collected, kind, helpful, attentive, cheerful and was really ready to help me. I wish him all the best in his new career. He will do great! I enjoyed the dealership - it was cool and comfortable and no one was mean to me even though I had a very rowdy 2 year old boy LOL! Everyone smiled and was kind to me and I felt happy.
