I had a great experience when purchasing my car. Chase, Mike F., and Mike D. all were very helpful and were willing to do whatever it took to get the deal done. We had an extremely fantastic experience with this dealership. Jeff was outstanding. The owner was on the property that day and gave us an excellent deal. These folks are all about people, not push dealership. Jeff was outstanding. The owner was on the property that day and gave us an excellent deal. These folks are all about people, not pushy and there to assist, guide and answer all questions you have especially to two folks who had traveled 1 1/2 hours to get to them. They did not try to sell something we did not want or try to make a sale above our price-range that we gave them. We would most definitely return to this dealership when the time comes to purchase another vehicle. The energy in the main office area was amazing. These folks "love" their jobs and it shows. More

I went into Ricart with the expectation that I was going to buy a car and I was more than happy that I did. My sales rep, Dallas Frazier, did a fantastic job showing me cars that were in my price range. H to buy a car and I was more than happy that I did. My sales rep, Dallas Frazier, did a fantastic job showing me cars that were in my price range. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. What I appreciated most about Dallas was that he was not too pushy. I am young and had been to four other dealerships before finally buying a car at Ricart and just got flat out annoyed by some of the salesmen I dealt with. I felt like they would sell their own mother if they could make money. It was obnoxious how they kept trying to sell me cars I did not want. Dallas was the complete opposite. We stuck to inventory that was within my price range and I am thrilled with my purchase. He was very nice and we looked at numerous cars that were in my price range and ended up purchasing a vehicle that was in my price range. Dallas did an excellent job and was by far the best sales rep I had dealt with, which is part of the reason I bought a car from Ricart. More
Dallas was very friendly and extremely patient. We met him initially the first time we came to the dealership looking for a car. I have been a long time customer of Ricart since about 1998-1999, and it's been years since I worked with the used area. But with in the last week during an attempt to purchase my 8th car from you I was t 1998-1999, and it's been years since I worked with the used area. But with in the last week during an attempt to purchase my 8th car from you I was treated poorly and I am pretty sure that after what happened today I will no longer be giving my business to Ricart. Also since for years I made it a point to send business your way, I plan on making sure I tell everyone I know how rudely Steven Holsinger treated me today. I had every intention on purchasing a 2011 Cadillac CTS Sedan off the lot today (5-31-13) even after get no help earlier in the week. I was very appreciative that Rick took the time to reach out to me and it was very nice to speak to him on the phone. Also it was nice to formally meet him today and I enjoyed all the people I had the opportunity to work with up to the point where Steve entered the "deal". Everything was going well, I was excited to be getting this new car, everyone I talked to made me feel really welcome and there was even some much needed joking going on. It was like night and day from my experience on Tuesday; when I had my 19 month old daughter with me on a 90 degree day and was waiting for someone to help or greet me for 30-45 mins while I walked around and inspected the car. It was because of the quality of service I have gotten over the years from imports and the service area over there that aided in me my decision to give Ricart another chance to make this deal. So I came in today at 10am and I started working with Jeff Aldridge who came highly recommended from a friend of mine that works for you since Mike Foster was not in just yet. Jeff jumped right on it, got me going for a test drive and answering all my questions as well as he is very personable and great to work with. There was no question in my mind after we got back from the test drive that I wanted to purchase this car. I had already done all my research prior on several other makes and decided that the CTS was the car I wanted to own. Also I had test driven several other CTS's with in the last two weeks and even was going to make a deal with another dealer but while they were appraising my trade I pulled Ricart's site and seen this one so I informed the salesman that I needed to think about it. Like I told Rick when I talked to him, I have always preferred to give my repeat business to you as a local business. Sadly for me I did get a very good offer on my trade and had a very good deal worked out that I should have taken advantage of before it sold on Wednesday. So with that said the major issue I wanted to bring to your attention about Steve is the fact that his customer service skills were horrible for what ever reason today. I have never met him before so I can't make the assumption that they are always this horrible but he is the reason that I will take my loyal repeated business else where. When he 1st came over to meet me prior to me signing off on the authorization to get the ball rolling on this sale, I could tell that either there was something very off with him or he is just very arrogant and cocky. I didn't get a good vibe from him like everyone else I had spoken with and I did not know that he was going to be the "deal" maker. The 2nd time he came to the table with the 1st work up sheet, he had a very hot headed argumentative attitude with me. I guess I made the mistake in telling him that I was a negotiator, someone who drives a hard bargain so let's see if we can make a deal. When I looked at the work up sheet I though it was a complete joke personally, I again told him where I wanted to be closer to and he was not budging one single inch on the price of the car or the value of my trade. I reminded him of what I was previously offered and was hoping to get a little closer; But he just suggested that I go back to the dealer and ask them to buy my car for that price and then come back to see him. I looked at him and laughed, saying oh come on that is horrible business and ethically I cannot do that. I would in the end want to give my business to the dealer that bought/paid off my trade, that's just the right thing to do. He said so anyway back to the deal, I said what deal and he just stared me down and asked if I was buying the car, I said there is no deal here. So he threw his arm across the table like a 3 year old to shake my hand, grabbed his papers and sulked away. I looked at Jeff and I was so embarrassed that this extremely nice person that I just met today had to be in this middle of this insanity. Jeff took the time to explain to me how the discounts work on their website because I brought up the fact that I got a better deal on a new car from imports than I was ever going to get over here. My last car was sticker-ed at almost 30000.00, the Internet price was 27K something, with my trade, taxes/title, and small down payment I financed only a little over 23K. This is what I was looking to do today and I was already pre-approved from Chase, I was not asking for a free car but you would have thought I was by Steve's actions. So about 5 mins pass after I said no deal and I was just really shooting the breeze with Jeff apologizing for what I thought was wasting his time when Steve came back. He said well I talked to Rick and he is upping your trade value and giving you 6 free oil changes since you are a long time customer. I'm like really that's only a $240.00 value and with the amount of money I have given Ricart over the last 15ish years that was almost like a slap in the face to me. I mentioned to him well maybe I should reconsider my choice in cars and head over to new where I know I can get a great deal and be treated like a queen. He spouted off, well if you aren't making a deal on this how do you think you could afford a new Cadillac at $50000.00; I said you don't even sell those here and if I wanted a new one I would have gone to Germain who is also a great family friend. I said I could go there and get great service but I have supported Ricart for years because I want to and I can. It honestly was getting very uncomfortable talking to him since he was being so combative with me and very arrogant and nasty. He said you aren't even getting my point and starting going off but I stopped him and said no you are not getting mine. I looked at him and I said as I pointed to the previous chair he was sitting in and I said the guy that was sitting here five mins ago had a hot headed attitude with me and swung him arm over the table to sarcastically shake my hand on a no deal, grab his papers like a child and sulk off. Now you are over here and nothing has really changed, he looked at me pissed and said that he didn't need to sit here and be talked to like that and when I talk to him I need to look at him in the eyes. I said like what don't you have to take, me saying you are not moving an inch on the price and what is 1000-2000.00 to someone who has given so much business to you. I said get it from some other sucker but I am no sucker, I might be a lady but I know a thing or two about cars. He then proceeded to tell me there was no way I got the deal I did on the car I own now, insinuating that I was lying. I had the finance papers to show it, there was no deal on Hyundai's in January of 2011, they had incentives on the Kia's. He said well I am sure there was a deal and that my sales person probably didn't tell me. I said that there are people down there that have personally known me for years from buying cars and the length of time they have been employed and that they would not pull the wool over my eyes for any reason. So here is the kicker, this rude unprofessional Ricart employee told me that I was RIDICULOUS several times with in a two min period. I was in shock that he had the nerve to say that to me after pretty much calling me a lair when I was just stating the facts about a deal that he was not in anyway involved in and could not make an assumption on when the proof is simply on the paper. I looked at him and said ridiculous because I know what I want and am asking to get a little closer to the deal but you haven't even come down a dime of your price. So this is the straw that broke me and the camels back. He looked at me and said why are you wasting my time, you didn't come here to buy a car. At that point I was 10x past my boiling point and on the edge so far all that I could do was cry, tears starting rolling out of my eyes not because I was sad, I was furious about what this Ricart employee just said this to me. I'm a mom that doesn't get much of a break, I took time off of work today and came over to make this deal. If I didn't intend to purchase a car why in the world would I be chilling in the show room with people I don't know very well? When in reality if that was not my intention I could have been outside on my deck enjoying this nice sunny day, working on my tan and drinking a few beers before I had to pick up my daughter? His unprofessional remarks made absolutely no sense and I was at a loss for words, I wanted nothing more than to get out of there as soon as possible. I looked at Jeff and apologized to him, said is was nice meeting him. As I got up from my seat and as turned around I seen Rick, I looked directly at him and said, I'm ridiculous, really... I'm ridiculous says your finance manager, tears running down my eyes, my body shaking from aggravation, I turned on a dime put my sun glasses on to not draw anymore attention to me and I walked out of there as fast as I could. I have not ever in my life walked away from a deal, I have bought ever car I have come there for until today and I am still in complete shock that this happened and that it was okay in any nature for him to speak to me the way his did. As I was leaving my friend was calling me, I answered the phone and of course she was concerned. I said well I was going to surprise you and everyone else so I had not said anything but I was suppose to be getting a new car today. Inquiring what happened, she informed me that her and her husband walked away from a deal a few months prior because of Steve. She stated that he pissed them off so bad being an arrogant and unprofessional so they walked on the deal, went to Coughlin and bought a new car in the same day. I have to think there are more customer you have lost because of him but I only know of two. My mother in law and my dad could not believe the horrible treatment; and they both felt bad for me. My mother in law is someone I sent to get a car when she was in the market, she bought a brand new Edge which she wrote you a personal check for $43000.00 to buy it. She stated that if that is how they will be treating me then this will be the one and only car she will ever buy from Ricart and she was pissed because she has really grown to love the service she has gotten since she purchased her car there in 2011. I could go on more about today but I have now wasted way to much time and I am worn out from being pissed and in utter disbelief. In the end I hope this feedback helps in anyway, it seems that someone needs an attitude check or to be coached how to not be such a hot head! More
My experience at Ricart was unique. Overall I am pleased with my vehicle and experience just some blips of lack of professionalism that came about. Ricart isn't a used car dealership with an average joe wor with my vehicle and experience just some blips of lack of professionalism that came about. Ricart isn't a used car dealership with an average joe working there, it is an corporate entity that has a particular plan on how to suck you in and then push you out. All should be prepared when going in because rest assure that they are. Their prices aren't great cause they like you so much, there good because someone else got a crappy trade in. Which is just fine, but when they showed me blue book, it didn't matter because who knows what they got it for. On the positive, Josh was super kool and tolerant of our pickiness and worked with us all day. I appreciate that. Also, Matt's a pretty kool guy. With me, I understood that they try to create a false relationship with you and act like there helping you, after they realized that didn't mean much to me, the atmosphere changed. Particularly when they found out I had my own lending it changed, were just very pushy to get me a sales agreement and out the door to secure the sell cause there wasn't as much money to make off of me now. Then I wanted the vehicle detailed and some other things that Josh assured me most would be done but definently the detail. When I went back a half way detail had been done, still food in the seats and the such. Josh was not there but Matt was. Matt acted to busy or to kool for school for me now. Around 9 pm after they closed at 8 I finally got to speak with the finance guy, and ha to tell him I wasn't signing anything until my requests were made known, AGAIN. Matt came told me my list was a joke and that it wasn't happening. I ended up making him mad, he threatened me that I hadn't bought the vehicle yet which at this point anyone else would have left and said go fly a kite. I knew I was pushing his buttons so I didn't care. He gave me 200 of for no detail and fixed the backed windows. Half of my requests. All in all I would go back. I would deal with them both again. Just that when Matt is pushed just like how most of them will be, their arrogance gets greater, they get ruder, and more overpowering. And at the end of the day they will let you walk, because if you don't but that car someone will. There good and they sell cars, so they have the upper hand when dealing. Words of advice, secure your own lending, look at their inventory online before going, and don't go looking for friends, go to buy a car. So go see Josh and Matt at Ricart but put on your big boy pants or they are gonna make good money off of you. :) More
Rick was extremely helpful during this experience for me. I had not purchased a car from a dealer in over 15 years. I had only somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and Rick listened and took all that I said I had not purchased a car from a dealer in over 15 years. I had only somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and Rick listened and took all that I said into consideration. We walked the lot for only 15 minutes. I found a car fitting my needs and Rick found a car that fit me. I test drove both of them, and ended up buying the car that Rick suggested. I would also like to mention that I felt he was completely honest from the start. As a woman I would never even consider going to buy a car on my own, but, I do believe I would rethink this if Rick were my salesman. Thanks, Rick, for a the wonderful experience and smooth transaction....I love my new car!!! More

He showed my mother and I several different options in the price range I was looking for. The next week I came to test drive the car I possibly wanted to purchase but was informed that the car had been sold. Rick immediately showed me other options available in my price range with the qualifications (low mileage, enough space, ipod connection, 4-cylinder) I wanted. Rick kept in contact with me for the past few weeks until I was ready to purchase a car. Ricart had many options available with low mileage and within my price range. Before coming to Ricart I visited another dealership that did not have as many options within my price range. The staff was friendly and helpful and was willing to answer any questions I had. More
