We were treated great by all the people we dealt with. Dan Grimes helped us have a very pleasant visit at the dealership. Very impressed with the amount of autos you have in stock. I have purchased many cars from Ricart Auto and have not been dissapointed. This time, I purchased a Pre-owned Honda Civic and just having it 2 days I know it will not have any major defects. I was greeted been dissapointed. This time, I purchased a Pre-owned Honda Civic and just having it 2 days I know it will not have any major defects. I was greeted by Dustin at the door and he helped me select this car out of 100's on the lot. He was friendly, patient, and knowledgable. He was able to answer all my questions and make my car buying experience very comfortable. Ken in the finance department was fast, friendly and effecient. I would recommend Ricart to any one looking for a new or used car. More

My sales experience with Nathan and Matt was very good. We negotiated hard, and it took a few days to get the deal done, but it was a good negotiation. My bad experience is with the finance department with We negotiated hard, and it took a few days to get the deal done, but it was a good negotiation. My bad experience is with the finance department with Shaun Barnes and to a lesser degree, Michelle Hamilton. When the final price was agreed upon and i was given the numbers from Matt on financing, i agreed to use Ricarts financing available because of the rate Matt quoted via text message of 8.49%. There was no mention of a extended warranty in any of our numbers, nor did i request it. In fact in my texts back and forth with Matt, an extended warranty was never implied or asked for. I asked for a final number with all fees and taxes so i could present to my financial institution which included no gap insurance or warranty. When i arrived and went back to Mr. Barnes office, when we got to the final numbers and payments, there was a 2700 dollar warranty already printed on the paperwork and an 800 dollar gap insurance charge. When i asked why, he said he had to add it to get the rate of 7.94. When i asked what the rate would be without it, he said 12. When i asked why it went from 8.49 without a warranty quoted to 7.94 with one, and now up to 12 without one, he said he didn't know where Matt got the 8.49 from. I grudgingly agreed, but did not feel good about it. The next day i called Kemba federal credit union who the loan was through and found out that they do not and cannot require an extended warranty purchase through the dealer to get a better rate. I called Matt and informed him of the situation and i was transferred to Mr. Barnes who proceeded to tell me that he was told by kemba that it needed the warranty, and if they are now saying its ok without it then he would change it, i just needed to come in and sign the new agreement. When i arrived, i talked to Mike Dobbins about my situation, and he was very cordial, gave me some rhetoric about new people, misscommunication, and human error. I really wanted to just walk away from this situation at this point, and get my car back and give them theirs back just based on principle. I decided to just get it done and never buy here again. When i expressed this to Matt and Mike, of course they wanted to know what i wanted to make it better. My agenda was not and is not to procure some gain out of this because of one persons actions, but to put it right and to call out an ethical and legal inpropiety. If they felt like offering something for this aggravation and hassle, i told them i would listen, but it would not change the facts or my opinion of the actions of their workplace. After signing and waiting for my wife to arrive and sign, i was approached by Michelle Hamilton to talk about why i was unhappy and what she could do. I reiterated my concerns and issues with what transpired. She proceeded to tell me that it was a misscommunication and that i was not lied to and that they do not lie to people. She was never involved, was not in any conversations i had with anybody. She then asked me to remove my sunglasses so she could see my face as i was explaining to her what happened. It was shockingly rude and unprofessional. In the end, i would never reccomend anyone to use their finance department, and as a dealership that i have bought 3 vehicles, it is discouraging that the behavior will be classified as a miscommunication which it was not at all. My wife and i were directly lied to, and then told that what we heard was not what was said or done. Thanks to Matt, and Mike for helping get this resolved. More
I really did think that the process was a little on the fun side, more than I wanted it to be, and everyone I worked with was friendly. There were 2 things that irritated me and still do. One is that I f fun side, more than I wanted it to be, and everyone I worked with was friendly. There were 2 things that irritated me and still do. One is that I felt way over pushed into the extended warranty as if I was a child and the lady that was working the financing was my mom trying to make me eat my vegetables. I really could not afford it, but ended up taking it to get out of the office - the conversation about it went on for 10-15 minutes of me adamantly passing on it over and over with me actually saying "I don't want or need it but will take it since you want me to have it so bad." My second issue is that when I asked the salesman, who was great, if there was any way to get the price of the car lower since my trade-in didn't bring in what I had hoped, he told me that was the rock bottom lowest and you are competitive about your pricing, and on and on, which made sense and I was like, ok. When I got home I jumped online to find the car I JUST BOUGHT, I mean the exact car not one just like it, and it was marked for $1160 less than what I ended up paying for it. Now I know that in the car business there has to be profit and different tactics, but that I was either bold face lied to or that my salesman seriously did not know that he could get me a better discount, even with a trade-in that only was found to be worth $500. I mean, honestly, I had a good experience and I would come back simply because of the selection and the friendly people, really. I worked in customer service and I know good from bad, but I always like honesty. If I ever recommend someone I will be sure to tell them to bring a smart phone and look it up online since the deals offered online or even on tv are not honored simply by asking what kind of deals or discounts there are. Everyone was friendly and professional and I am thus far satisfied with my new car, for that I am grateful. It would be nice to have received the discount of $1160 I feel I should have been due as well as the $900 for the extended warranty I didn't want. I understand that this is business and that is how you make money, I guess this time I am just the egg that's got to be cracked to make the omelet. More

Someone seated us and began processing us until Steve was free to join us. He showed us many vehicals & we selected camary after Steve took me on a test drive. Michelle Hamilton (finance rep.) processed me & I left with a car that was new too me. That following Monday I called Michelle and returned the car for a lower priced one. Michelle introduced me to Rick Johnson & from that moment they began assisting me with purchasing another car. They were both very friendly & professional handling my situation. I bought a lower priced car (2009 Hyundai Sonata). My husband & I are very satisfied with our purchase. Michelle is a real gem of person. She really helped me with my final transactions. When we first arrived at the Auto Mall, we didn't know which way to go. We saw some men talking in front of the building and Bob approached them and asked where we should go to look at trucks. Mr. know which way to go. We saw some men talking in front of the building and Bob approached them and asked where we should go to look at trucks. Mr. Ricart, himself, was standing there and took the time and trouble to explain to us where the new and used trucks would be. We went over to the Used Auto lot and Mr. Sullivan met us at the front door. He worked diligently to show us everything that we had expressed an interest in. Also the finance office handled our purchase with such competency; we could never have received a better deal anywhere else. Thank you for being so service oriented. When we left there we felt as though we had made new friends. Bob & Marianna Morgan More
