Saw a very nice MINI Cooper on-line. Called about auto on Feb 7. Spoke with Marc Cattaruzza. Advised that I was in Lex. KY area and would be up following week to see/ drive vehicle. Called Feb 13 asked more Feb 7. Spoke with Marc Cattaruzza. Advised that I was in Lex. KY area and would be up following week to see/ drive vehicle. Called Feb 13 asked more questions concrening vehicle. Marc returned my call same afternoon. Advised Marc that I would travel to see vehicle the next day; Feb 14. Received text from Marc at 9:51am Feb 14 stating that my file AND keys WERE waiting for me with another salesman as he would be out. I was already on road by that time and I do NOT answer texts nor answer phone while driving. Took rest stop just 30 miles from Ricart's when I read texts. Also had received two texts from Shawn (10:20am) advising me that the vehicle was "gone" and no longer available. Of course was already 11:30 by the time I read said texts! Called and spoke with Shawn. Said MINI I was interested in was gone BUT did have two others and more expensive. (can you say "bait-n-switch"?!) Found out that vehicle had been sent off to auction on MONDAY, Feb. 11!! I wasted 5 hours of my time not to mention driving 426 miles round trip from my residence. I e-mailed asking as to WHY and how such a breech of communication could happen and basicly was told to be MY fault as I should have called b4 leaving to view vehicle even though I HAD called a meer 18 hours earlier and that the salesman at the dealership couldn't possibly know that the vehicle had been shipped-off 4 days earlier nor was it out of ordinary for said vehicle to remain on view as "available" a full week after wards! I thought the LEAST that could be done would be to reinburse my fuel cost with the MOST being to "offer" one of the more expensive MINIs at the same price as the one I was origionally interested. As humongus a dealership as is Ricarts, I guess that JUST one disgruntled POTENTIAL customer isn't a major loss. More

Our recent experience at Ricart was excellent. We have purchased several cars at Ricart and have been more than satisfied everytime. Rick Johnson was very friendly and patient with us as we test drove SUV;'s and cars. He was easily available to us throughout the deal. Ricart truly stands behind their word. We noticed a "flaw" on the trunk of the car we purchased after we had driven it home that evening. There had been a snow storm and due the salt/snow on the vehicle, we didn't notice it prior. We called Rick right away and met with him again the next day -- we ended up driving home in a car we were extremely satisfied with. Rick followed up to see if we how things were going with our new purchase-- we were more than satisfied! We will continue to purchase new or used vehicles at Ricart. Very satisfied customers :) More
I was interested in a particular car that I had found on the internet. Emailed Mr. Tudor and he emailed me back saying that someone would contact me, the next day no one had contacted me so I emailed again the internet. Emailed Mr. Tudor and he emailed me back saying that someone would contact me, the next day no one had contacted me so I emailed again and then called. Got another email from Mr. Tudor saying Mr. Dobbins would contact me, nothing. So I called again and asked for Mr. Dobbins and sent him a email, nothing. About two weeks went by, I saw the car was still up for sale, I sent another email. THANK YOU, DALLAS FRAZIER! After the call from Mr. Frazier, everything went through very smoothly. I flew up to Ohio from Georgia, I was picked up by Tim and the car was waiting on me. Dallas was a awesome salesperson, very knowledgable and friendly. The final transaction was simple enough and off I went, back to Georgia. Just have to say again that Dallas was great. One thing I will say though is to have your detail crew clean the cars a little better, I fly in from out of state and I want to see a clean detailed car. The one I bought was not on the showroom but hey I gave you my time, so a little wax would not have hurt. First thing I did when I got home was take it to the detail shop and now she looks good. More
