We were very satisfied with our experience at Ricart. We called on a Sunday after looking at the website, found the car we wanted, and set up an appointment the following day. We live about 2 hours away so we came a long way hoping to get a great car at a great price. The salesman, Rick Johnson, had the car we had picked out ready for us already waiting when we arrived, we test drove it, and drove it off the lot that afternoon! Rick honored the "internet price" we had seen the previous day, which was about $5000 cheaper than the actual sticker price. In addition, it was a newer model and factory certified. Sold! We were very pleased with our visit and our new (slightly used!) Mazda6! More

First, I will say that my husband and I are very pleased with the used car that we purchased from the Ricart Used Car Factory. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the purchase process. It was the wor with the used car that we purchased from the Ricart Used Car Factory. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the purchase process. It was the worst car buying experience that either of us have ever endured. If it weren't for the price of the vehicle, we simply would have walked out of the dealership. When questioned about flexibility in price, our salesperson gruffly stated that there was no room for negotiation. Needless to say, I was not happy the next morning to visit the Ricart website and see that the Internet price had been reduced by $800. A few extra bucks for the salesperson and the dealership, but a lost opportunity for repeat business. Ray Pasco is unprofessional, rude and condescending -- not a winning combination for a used car sales person. When a customer like myself asks a question that is relevant to the transaction at hand, a polite response is expected. Repeated requests on my part for documents related to the transaction should not be necessary. Nor do I appreciate receiving 1/2 tank of gas when buying a vehicle that costs nearly $17,000. When I questioned management about this, Ray was instructed to add more gas to the tank. The car didn't come back with much more gas - again a few bucks saved for the dealership, but lost opportunity. I would strongly recommend that potential purchasers do their homework prior to visiting the dealership -- be familiar with prices, market value, specs - standard vehicle equipment and options. Our salesperson was not familiar with the vehicle; just the price and we arrived with Internet price in hand, so that was pretty easy. Be informed and prepared to walk away, if necessary. I would never recommend this dealership -- because they choose to employ sales staff like Ray Pasco. More

To the point, I believe this man should be your one and ONLY salesmen. If there were a model for the perfect car buying experience, this was it. John went above and beyond with his attention to the customers needs, the ability to ease the tension of car buying, and the overall care for the customer. Accepted 0 money down without batting an eye and the finance department pigeon holed the targeted monthly payment we had to make within our budget. Not one person made us feel ridiculous for having a budget, either. As a matter of fact, we were assured everyone understood and promptly made a strong attempt to help.
