Do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase from here. There are plenty of other dealerships in central Ohio. Purchased a vehicle on 12/12/2022 and today is the day my bank is supposedly getting the com There are plenty of other dealerships in central Ohio. Purchased a vehicle on 12/12/2022 and today is the day my bank is supposedly getting the completed paperwork. (01/05/2023) .They recorded the wrong county of residence on all the forms even though it was discussed three different times. Signatures were missed (even though we asked if my wife should sign) and the original day we tried to purchase this car they screwed the paperwork up so bad that our bank rejected it even though I had a letter in hand from that bank for preapproved loan amount far exceeding the amount needed to purchase this car. Came back the next day and they still wouldn't take ownership of their mistakes. The bank rejected the loan the day before because the dealer failed to input the numbers correctly and left off the sales tax. Come to find out that was just the start of the mistakes. Behind the scenes, I was working with the bank to qualify for a lower rate once the loan funded but it never came through and the bank rep stated they have been trying to get ahold of the dealership since the week of purchase with no answer. I called in several times only to have the phone tag game played on me or call transferred to 4 or 5 different people without notice.....simple customer service would be to get back on the line and say "I'm transferring you to so and so" but they don't seem to know what customer service is. They are so intent that they are a high-volume car dealer that they couldn't care less about the actual customer. I reached out no less than 4 times expecting a call back from a manager or director of several different departments trying to figure this situation out and still have yet to receive any call from any of them. Instead, they just keep passing it off to the same people that couldn't help to begin with. Literally asked to speak to Jeremy last week and was transferred to Nate without warning. It's as if they can't be bothered once they get to a certain part of the internal food chain there. It speaks volumes as to how the customer service has been that not one of them could take the time to reach out and listen to the problems to try and correct them for future customers. My guess is it wouldn't do any good anyway. They literally DO NOT CARE. All of the individuals rated in this review are folks that did nothing until we kept calling and calling and calling to get this resolved. In the end the finance manager Nate (who did the paperwork wrong in the beginning) is who finally dealt with the problem but still no call back from director or manager after I was promised multiple times they would. This is what gives used car sales a bad rep and Ricart goes far beyond BAD as far as I'm concerned. Never again will I buy anything from any Ricart lot after this experience. More
