The paperwork process was a pain and not done in a friendly, informative way. They do it hundreds of times but I do it once every 3-5 years. Best experience ever buying a vehicle, from salesman to manager,to finance dept. everyone was friendly, courteous, took all of 2 hours and we were out the door with a 2010 f150. I appreciate the opportunity to buy from your dealership. Unfortunately, although everyone advertises a 'no games' type of interaction with their customers, this is what I had to do. I first test drove a Solara with Glenn about a week ago (which I ended up purchasing). I liked the car and it's features, however I was not ready to make a purchase at that time, as I still wanted to do some shopping around. Glenn did a sales write-up with the aforementioned price. I inquired as to if the price could be adjuster to below 12k, however he informed me that he was unable to do so. I called a couple days later, again asking if the price could be adjusted, since he knew I was interested in the car. Again I was told that he couldn't go below 12k. I *think* it was on a Thursday or Friday in which I noticed the price had been lowered to $11,750. I called and asked if the price could be lowered to $11,500, but was told that that couldn't be done, so I jokingly said "I'll call back in a couple weeks and maybe the price will be lower". On Monday of this week I submitted an offer through the website for $11,500. I received a call later that afternoon and was told "If that price is what it takes to earn your business, we'll accept it", which of course I immediately made arrangements for the purchase. While I understand if I come across as pushy, I feel like Glenn wasn't really interested in making a sale; if my initial offer had been accepted some real time and energy on everyone's part could have been saved and there would have been one less car on your lot a week earlier (I believe it had been for sale for about 90 days). Additionally, if several days later after the test drive the price went down from $12k to $11,750, Glenn could have simply made that adjustment to begin with. I *DO* appreciate the final price adjustment however. Bryan (Brian?) was quite helpful. More
It was overall a good transaction. The only issue I have is that they did not properly explain the remaining factory warranty on the vehicle (which has no owner's manual!) when I asked about it, so that the is that they did not properly explain the remaining factory warranty on the vehicle (which has no owner's manual!) when I asked about it, so that they could tout their additional, fairly expensive warranty, which I probably wouldn't have gotten if I had known that the factory warranty remaining was so substantial. The only complaint I have is how long the process takes once a decision has been made to purchase a used car. I do have to say, I like that a customer can roam the lot without a salesperson tagging along once a decision has been made to purchase a used car. Also, the "no haggle" internet price is no fun. My husband loves to haggle. More
Your dealership charged me 5 points higher trying to finance a vehicle after I was told I was given the best deal available. Then when I called to cancel the deal because I didn't take delivery of the c finance a vehicle after I was told I was given the best deal available. Very disappointing experience. More

I went to Ricart Automotive looking for a new or used vehicle. When I arrived, I found the sales staff to be friendly, courteous, and respectful of my disdain for high pressure sales tactics. The sales team went to great lengths to accommodate my needs and preferences. Ultimately- and for the first time in which I have dealt with a car dealership- I emerged quite satisfied with the experience. The survey above does not have an item that assesses how I would rate my past car buying experiences, or how I would compare the recent experience to prior experiences. Ricart was an order of magnitude better. More
