MY car is worth $28k, their truck was worth $34k(MAX). They wanted $39+K. Only wanted to give me $24k, mine was 3 yo with only 25,000 miles, and not a scratch on it. Their truck was 6 yo and 50,000, scuffed up bumpers, tailgate and inside worn. Tried to make me believe they were giving me a steal. I do not trust this dealership and would reccomend EVERYONE BE WARY OF THEM AS WELL More
I brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and was told to expect a 2-day turnaround. It took a full week to get the car back, and the original issue was NOT fixed. On top of that, my car now makes a loud ticking noise that was not there before. When I called to report it, instead of offering to look into the problem, I was lectured about declining additional services like brakes, filters, and a battery. That has nothing to do with the fact that I paid $1,500 for a repair that didn’t resolve my issue—and now I have a new problem. I was then told it would cost another $3,000 to address the ticking noise and other items before they would even move forward. That’s unacceptable. They also recommended replacing spark plugs and wires that were replaced less than a year ago and have under 4,000 miles on them—another $750 suggestion that makes no sense. To make matters worse, I can no longer access the inspection report I paid for. What’s the point of paying for an inspection if you don’t get the results? I always heard dealerships take care of their customers. That has not been my experience here. I feel like I paid a lot of money, got no resolution, and ended up worse off than when I started. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. More
Despite an earlier and less than ideal experience, I returned to RK Service with my 2021 Yukon for a fuel management system recall and an oil change. When I picked up my vehicle I mentioned to the service rep we had noticed that our owner’s manual was missing following a previous service call, Mary was our service rep. What a difference this experience was! She was very helpful and professional. I just got the call that my owner’s manual is ready for pick up. I’ll be asking for her every time. Thanks to the techs for good service and a special thanks to Mary for restoring my faith that someone listens and cares at the RK service department More
I have purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Had a bed cover installed at the dealership. Had to take it back to have the hardware on the bed cover corrected. They cross threaded the bolts and put locking screws in where adjustment bolt was supposed to be. The truck was drove down from Virginia for delivery. The day I picked up the truck the tire pressure was low, and they adjusted the air pressure. Went back two days later and told them the tire was low in air once again. I have had the truck six weeks and have had to add air to the tire three times. Then they want me to pay 415 dollars for a new tire that was leaking air from day of purchase. When I picked up my truck after the bed cover installation there was a scratch in my door on passenger side. This came after I had to wait 10 days to get my floor mats for my truck. After the mats and cover installed the scratch was in the truck door. They have had the truck for two days to not fix the scratch to tell me I have to pay 415 for a new tire that was leaking from pick up day and to fix the hardware on the bed cover that their service department put onto my truck. They were all nice and great till they got the sale done and now they are done with the customer. I have owned a Toyota for 19 years and their service department and customer value has been better for the entire 19 years with them than the 6 weeks with Richard Kay superstore. Richard Kay does not value their customer base or how they treat you after you get the sale completed. I am still trying to get the scratches fixed on my door that was done in their hands. We will see if this takes place or if I have to go to someone else to have it fixed as well like the tire. I am very disappointed in their service and treatment of their customer after the purchase of my truck. More
Got a follow up call from Gabe that we we’re looking for a pick up truck that will get us up our steep driveway. Gabe was kind, and obviously, trust worthy. I called Cornelius last week (either the 11th or the 12th) to schedule an appointment for this Friday at 2:00. To make matters worse, the guy who answered the phone was rude and rushed me off the phone despite the questions I had about the service I was getting done on my car -- a transmission pan drop and filter change. It's my asset. I have a right to ask three questions about it. Cornelius never called me back even though the guy on the phone this morning said he was coming in at 8. It is 9:30 now and I decided to go somewhere else. SLACK! More
