This was my first experience purchasing a car directly from a dealer and, I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've had making a car purchase, or any purchase for that matter. Anton, my client adviser, was incredibly knowledgeable. I came to the dealership and within 30 seconds of stepping foot on the property, Anton introduced himself in a very professional manner. He explained to me the BMW Preferred Customer program and began asking me very insightful questions to determine what car would fill my needs. I ended up finding a car that was perfect, with all of the features I could ask for and comfortably within my price range. Upon entering the dealership to begin my paperwork, Dmitriy, one of the managers, introduced himself. He was very accommodating and the atmosphere was low-pressure and comfortable. Anton and Dmitriy walked me through the paperwork quickly, all the while making sure I had everything I needed along the way. The finance consultant, Dan, was very easy to work with and he was able to lock in a very low interest rate by contacting a representative at a local bank within minutes of me asking. Keep in mind, all of this occurred on a Sunday. This type of service was above and beyond the service I could have hoped for. I must be honest: Before this experience, I was hesitant about purchasing a car from a dealer. I grew up with an understanding that you have to haggle with a salesman to get a decent deal, and you probably could not expect to walk away feeling good about the decision. Well, Anton and BMW Richmond proved me wrong. I anticipate this vehicle will last quite a while (given the quality craftsmanship and excellent reputation), but when it is time for a new one, this dealership will be my first (and only) stop. We saw a nice used 911 porsche At Richmond BMW and gave them a call. Steve Lerner answered and from there on all our questions were answered. We flew into Richmond, stayed at an airport hotel and was picked up by Steve in the morning. The whole sale took less than 2 hours and was quite plesent. We purchased a new Z4 from Steve Lerner. We wanted to do European Delivery and we wanted to wait until the 2013 models were being built. We were kept up to date on production and got our vin number before we left for Germany. We had to coordinate airline reservations,hotel reservations in 5 different locations around Europe and our pickup appointment at the Welt in Germany. I know Steve has a lot of customers, but we felt like we were his only ones. As difficult as the process seamed, it went as smooth as glass. Our little car arrived in Richmond three weeks after we got back and Steve made it a priority to get it ready for us. All in all, the experience was a once in a lifetime and if you ever get a chance, don't pass it up. More
