Steve is great - financing department needs to work I came in from ways away to buy a car that I saw online (not a BMW). There was a manufacturing recall that I wanted re-mediated before picking up the car, as I didn't want to have to deal with it afterwards. The timeline was very tight (literally overnight) and Steve was able to accommodate that with the Audi dealership across the street, so I can pick the up the car the following day on Saturday. I flew in, picked up by them and delivered straight to Steve's desk. He was very respectful of my time and quick with the paperwork. Also took the time to do a test drive before signed the final sale. Overall, the process with Steve was very smooth, I would definitely recommend doing business with him. The finance department was a bit different, as there were some credit card issues and registration fee inconsistencies for inter-state dealings. Hope the improves for them overtime. More

He helped us determine what was really important for us, beyond just the usual about our budget. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about BMW features, and the benefits they offer for the BMW experience. Then he searched and found the right X 1 to meet my needs and budget. The purchase experience was comfortable -- good information to get everything right, and decide which extra protections were worthwhile for us, but without the expected pressure to buy this or that extra. We even got technical help to set up our other car for our personal preferences. Nice and knowledgeable -- it was a valuable experience even if we had not bought from him. More

I did my research on many dealerships and sales reps for the car I wanted. This reviews is only for the sales side. Steve is very personable, lively, and straight-to-the-point guy. He will assist you in any ways possible without meandering or adding fluff, to which, I really liked. I was in the market for a 2018 Camry. I stumbled upon Richmond BMW from www.cars.com and they happened to have one on their lot that had recently been traded-in. The car still had the new car smell, plastic protective covers on certain areas that previous owner hadn't removed, and only 11k on the odometer. It was closes to a new car purchase without the new car mark-up at a used car price. Since I was buying a used car I had many requests. One of which, was having my personal mechanic review the car. Richmond BMW happily oblige and was confident in all of their cars (I would definitely recommend taking all used cars to your TRUSTED mechanic before buying). I did my homework and knew the market value of the car, so I worked with Steve and the manager to get the price I was happy with. Even, after the purchased of the car (Feb.2018) Steve continued to call, email, and mail to check-up on the new purchase. Overall, great customer service, stress-free and painless experience from Steve. I would absolute recommend Steve Lerner as the sales rep when looking for a car. More
Great experience. No regrets. Steve was an awesome salesman. I found my car via a nationwide search on autotrader and was trying to settle on a deal from 2500 miles away. With m Steve was an awesome salesman. I found my car via a nationwide search on autotrader and was trying to settle on a deal from 2500 miles away. With me being so far away, I had to rely on the dealership more than I normally would, but Steve made it easy. He always answered my questions and was willing to tolerate all my ridiculous requests without complaint. I don’t know when the guy stops working as I even received follow up emails from him between 2 and 3 AM. He really went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed, even offering to pick me up from the airport when I arrived to finalize our deal. On top of that, he took the time to go over all the ins and outs of the car, make calls to troubleshoot the satellite radio, and shared some really useful insight on ownership of BMWs in general. I would work with Steve again in a heartbeat. He’s extremely friendly, personable, and hardworking. All which made a traditionally stressful experience very painless. More

I started a spreadsheet comparing exterior color, interior color, luxury, tech package safety package , maintenance package and convenience to my house. I talked to friends about what they drove and if they were happy with their choices. I decided on the 2018 BMW X3. I am very happy with my decision. And in April 2018 Consumer Report voted the BMW X3 the number one luxury SUV. The team at Richmond BMW Broad Street were awesome. Steve Lerner helped me after my purchase in learning all the features my new car has. It exceeded my expectations. More
