From past experience wit I called Steve Lerner to inquire about an Acura RDX that was listed at the Crown Acura dealership next door to Richmond BMW. From past experience with Steve, I knew that he would be able to sell the car to me IF the RDX was not a certified used car. After doing some investigation on my behalf, Steve learned that the car was, in fact, certified, so he could not make the sale. Instead, he referred me to the Used Car Manager at Crown Acura who was able to complete the sale. Thank you, Steve! More
The worst experience possible I am rating this as 1 star because it is impossible to rate it as 0. I went to this BMW dealer on Saturday, October 22 to buy a used car. After not re I am rating this as 1 star because it is impossible to rate it as 0. I went to this BMW dealer on Saturday, October 22 to buy a used car. After not reaching an agreement on the price, I left the store when it was closing. On my way, back to Charlottesville, I received a call and an e-mail from Josh offering a new proposal much closer to my offer. On Sunday morning, around 11 am, I replied accepting the deal and compromising to be at the dealer on Monday morning to deliver the check and conclude the paperwork. After some e-mails, I also called the dealer at 1pm to verify if everything was good for Monday and if I could sign into an insurance plan for the vehicle. As expected, I received the feedback that the deal was confirmed and that I could proceed with everything. Surprisingly, on Monday Josh sent me at 8:05 am an e-mail saying that the car was sold on Saturday night (very strange since I left the store on Saturday when they were closing and because I received the offer on Saturday 7:00 pm). When I had the chance to read it, my wife was already at the dealer to finalize the purchase process. The Richmond BMW has no respect for people´s time and does not care about communicating with customers. Their lack of ethics on managing offers and customer relation is huge. I would never buy a car from this place nor recommend it to anyone. More

Their customer service was great! Not only did we purchase a vehicle, but we look forward to our future visits. They go above and beyond and will actually take the time to show you everything you want to know about your vehicle! More

Amazing!! Steve Lerner is the best there is- he really cares about his customers and will do anything that he can to make them happy. My dad bought a 528 back i Steve Lerner is the best there is- he really cares about his customers and will do anything that he can to make them happy. My dad bought a 528 back in end of July and I tagged along with him because I knew I was planning getting a 320 end of September/beginning of October. I was immediately impressed by Steve's knowledge and how he kept going above and beyond! From there, I knew I wanted to partner with Steve for my 320! 2 days ago, I had my appointment with Steve and by the end of the appointment he had done everything to get me the car that I wanted and the car that was the best for my money. The car had to be brought from Charlottesville, so he made the call early to make sure it was reserved to be mine. Not only did he get me the car that I wanted but he also did the absolutely best job ever for giving a good price that was a "no brainer". So I finally picked up my beautiful 2016 320 last night and it's everything I could've wanted. Unfortunately, I was very ill with the flu yesterday so I was too tired to stay after the paperwork. So Steve offered to come by my house this weekend to show me the features of the car...I don't know many people that would do that! He truly does go above and beyond and cares about making it the best experience for me and anyone else. Steve Lerner is 10! Thank you so much!!!!! I would also like to say that everyone at BMW (Matt Perry, Dmitriy, Anton Kulay, Joey, and many others that I forgot their names) has been very welcoming and made this process very enjoyable. BMW is not just a luxurious car but it's outstanding customer service! I look forward to continue dealing with everyone at BMW! More

They were very honest, patient, helpful, and most of all made my wife and I feel like family. I never been to a car dealership were everyone greets you and takes their time to help you make the best decision. Most dealers have salespeople that don't care about the customers and only care about sales such as Passport Bmw in Suitland Maryland who basically stole my 1,000 deposit. Still waiting for a phone call back from the General Manager Mr. Long. Do not go to Passport Bmw, they talk to you very arrogantly and do not take time to help the customers. I am so mad about the deposit that I went to this dealership (Richmond Bmw) and purchased 2017 X5. Now, a Bmw lifer. Thanks, Richmond Bmw. More

Very bad customer service.called few times reg my new car having issues and even wrote email.but no one responded back.i took my car for maintanance,they didn't even wash my car and there was oil and grease on the car which I noticed when I got home. Called the service department and no one returns back my call. I would not recommend this dealer and I would not go back to them to buy any other car More
