Ma Over the past several months I have shopped and driven ALL of the luxury car manufacturers in our area. I decided on BMW because of Mark Revely! Mark kept me updated on the models that he had available and even worked up financing options for me online. He patiently gave me every piece of information that I needed to help me make an informed decision. Mark's attitude of helpfulness and professionalism exceeded that of any auto dealership I have ever dealt with! The team of Mark, Dmitriy and Josh gave me a fair price for my trade in and made financing a breeze! I love my X5 and will be a Richmond BMW customer for life. More

Not only did I get information on the car almost instantaneously but I also received a phone call and follow up information early the next morning. Through the process, Steve made a very sincere but not pushy effort to understand what I was looking for and try to accommodate my price range/needs/desires/etc. When we found what we were looking for, he even went to a competitor to answer some of my questions on the car I ended up buying (I did not buy a BMW). Along the way, Dmitriy and Charles were also incredibly helpful. They got information to me quickly and even offered more on my car to help make all of the finance pieces work. Overall, a far better experience than I could have imagined! Thanks Richmond BMW/Crown Mini. More

Hopefully the process is easy, and in the case of a trade in, you hope to be offered enough where you can pay off your existing loan and have enough to take a chunk out of your loan amount. I by no means walked into BMW of Richmond on 3/2/15 thinking I would leave with a new car that met my exact needs, wants, and specifications. After almost 6 months of researching, test driving, haggling, Craigslisting, and tearing my hair out(wishing the process was easy), I got just that experience where everything worked out. More than enough offered for my trade in, a gracious kind and welcoming staff that were there for me during the 6 hours spent at the dealership. Let's start at the beginning. 1:30- I call about a car listed on the BMW of Richmond website. Called asking for the manager Aaron who wasn't taking appointments. A friend had purchased his car a few months prior and told me to seek out his salesman and name drop for a referral discount. The phone was answered by a guy named Andrew who verified the car was available and made an appointment to see me as soon as possible. The car was indeed Available so I hopped in my Honda and headed over 2:00 - I pull up to the dealership and am greeted by Andrew at the door. I see he's pulled the car I inquired about over the phone to a display space right at the entrance. After a quick look and walk around of the car (year, miles, history, features, etc.) we walk inside and sit at his desk. He also has AutoCheck and CarFax reports for my chosen vehicle as well as similar vehicles they had on the lot. Naturally I was eager to jump behind the wheel and take the 2011 BMW 328i I inquired about for a spin. I was introduced to the manager I was told about by my friend, Aaron. Polite guy with a firm handshake (how all car salesmen should be). I explained earlier to Andrew that I had a trade in and he handed my key to Aaron to start the appraisal process while we were out for a spin. I hopped in the car and enjoyed my ride which was a good 20 minutes in the car. Back roads, main roads, highways a veritable playground for me to play with the cars features, speed, control, and get a by comfortable. We arrived back with an appraisal number that was much higher than any I've heard for the current condition of my Honda CRV. Nearly $2000 more than I anticipated, also enough to to put off my Loan with a bit left over for a downpayment, but not quite as much as I would have wanted in a perfect world. At this time, I was introduced to the dealership manager, Demitri. A stern looking guy with a thick Russian accent. He carried himself with authority and knowing how the car business worked, I knew I'd have to win him over before anything really started to go my way. I told him who I knew, and who sent me and turns out my friend who mentioned Aarkn had failed to mention that his father had shopped with Demitri times before. After all was said and done, Andrew was able to get me what I needed for my trade in for the sale to be a done deal in my mind and appealing to my parents. Being the good son that I am, I hopped on the phone and consulted with my father who wanted to look at the numbers on paper, see pictures of the car(since he lives about 150 miles away) and talk to the salesman for a bit. By 5 o'clock we had gotten the seal of approval and I began the purchase process. At 5 o'clock I was scheduled to take a conference call for work so the staff at the dealership hooked me up with a wall charger and sat me in a quiet office and patiently waited for me to finish up to start the signing spree. 6:00- I emerge from my conference call to have everyone just as friendly and kind as before. I was sat at the desk of the dealerships Director of finance who ran my credit, applied for my loan, and got me a great rate. Josh was helpful, clearly explained my warranties, and provided add ons and accessories to finance into the amount. While we had a cup of coffee, I mentioned Id want to pic up a schnazzy BMW keyring for my new baby and somewhere in our signing process, he snuck to the accessories counter and selected one for me without my knowledge and surpised me. After all was said and done: car was cleaned, fueled, detailed, and perfected. Papers were signed, and I left to work for a bit while I waited for my car to come back from cleanup and detailing. Around 8 o'clock I arrived back as the dealership was closing up to do a final clean out of my old car and grab the keys to my new ride. As a first car buyer, this experience automatically dispels any worrys anyone hs ever put into my head about the "shadiness" of car buying. Maybe I was able to navigate the process myself so well for the first time because of my history in sales and customer service, but all in all everyone was professional, kind, and welcoming. I left with some new contacts, Facebook friends, and cheesy enough a new car family. If I ever need anything, any of The associated that helped me that day are just a call away. Anyone that saw me signing paperwork was excited for me. Asking me what I bought, how long Id been waiting for this day, telling me about their cars, past BMWs and their experiences driving Their ultimate driving machines. Patient, informative, knowledgeable and a just an exceptionally pleasant personality. When my wife and I arrived to pick up my car she had it in the showroom polished and ready to go. Thad introduced himself and asked if there was anything he could do to help, if not now, he wanted us to know he was there if we needed him. Rebecca handed us off to Heather in finance and she did a wonderful job in finding us an outstanding interest rate but also reviewed service and product options. Dan stopped in to say hello and to comment on how he really liked how we optioned our car! We began to talk and he offered some great advice about servicing our car since we intended to keep for 8 to 10 years. Thanks to Thad, Dan, Heather and especially Rebecca! This was my first car bought from Crown BMW and was a fantastic experience! More
Not your typical used car salesmanship approach I was introduced to Steven Lerner when I happened to wander into the dealership unannounced one Saturday afternoon, considering a possible purchase. I was introduced to Steven Lerner when I happened to wander into the dealership unannounced one Saturday afternoon, considering a possible purchase. Steve spent several hours at that initial point to learn more about me and my interests, making recommendations without being pushy on a potential sale. His approach was sincere, personable, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable about the products offered by BMW. While Steve exemplifies these traits, the same friendliness and professionalism carried through the other staff that assisted Steve in my ultimate transaction -- particularly Charles Armstrong who worked on the financial component. Once my decision to purchase my vehicle was made the entire team -- Steve, Charles, Rocky, and Thad worked tirelessly to locate the vehicle I desired, handle all aspects of contract and transaction (including all interactions with our local DMV), ensure safe delivery, and ultimately transfer the new keys to me. The team even went above and beyond on the date my vehicle arrived to prepare the vehicle and accomodate my busy schedule by working expeditiously late ino the evening so that I could drive it home that same day. If anyone is considering purchasing a BMW without the pressure from a typical car salesman in a family atmosphere, make Richmond BMW your first stop and do not hesitate to ask for Steve Lerner! More

I was purchasing from out of town, and he was readily available over email as well as phone. His balance of friendliness, work ethic, and knack for providing options that would best fit my goals/interests for this purchase were spot on. What meant the most to me was that he followed through on his word promptly without exception. That type of service is worth driving in from out of town in my book. Thanks to the many other staff members who helped with my purchase. Classy, friendly dealership. More

Kirk looked up my info and identified that I had made an online inquiry for info and handed me off to Steven Lerner who had my contact info. Steven was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. He was patient and thorough throughout my 2 hour + visit. He shared some small nuances of the car that I think some "typical" salesman usually gloss over. He introduced me to the sales manager (Dmitriy) and Thad, person that manages all of their car orders for insight into what options are worthwhile and which are not. Steven made sure our test drive took us on city, highway and backstreets to highlight the cars capabilities. When finished with the drive we sat down and built a car to my specs to get some accurate pricing info. No back and forth with the finance manager, just simple up front pricing. I told him that I wasn't ready to make a decision that day and he responded with an offer for an overnight test drive whenever I wanted so my wife could see the car on our own. Overall a very pleasant experience. I would have given this dealership all 5 stars, but the building shows it's age and is ready for a renovation which they are planning to start this year. Now let's see how they do with pricing... will send an update if I decide to get a BMW (I'm looking at a few other choices). More
